This place is unprofessional and very upsetting. I wish I could give it no stars - yes it was/is…read morethat bad! I am new to Miami Beach and am part of a military household. My husband has served the U.S. Navy for over 14 years, through four deployments including time in Iraq and Afghanistan. I share this because we have tri-care which is the military healthcare system and because I have had both private and government healthcare and none of them have been as bad as this place. I called to schedule an initial visit with Dr. Georgi Miller MD. The receptionist asked me why I needed to see the Doctor. I said I was a new patient and that I wanted to discuss my current healthcare needs. The receptionist acted like I was crazy and asked me exactly what my concerns were - really??? Am I suppose to tell a receptionist all my health needs over the phone? Against my better judgement I vaguely described why I needed to see the Doc. She abruptly put me on hold and then came back on and said, yes, I could see the Doctor (well thanks!). This conversation was so painful I had to stop the girl and ask her if she was seriously talking to me in that tone and manner. Yup, she was. My appointment was actually pretty good. The office was clean and neat, although the patient files were all over the receptionists office and the girls at the desk looked overwhelmed and sad. I saw Dr. Georgi Miller MD pretty quickly. She was professional and kind. She listened to my concerns and asked lots of questions. We both knew I needed to see a specialist and she said that the front desk would see who could see me and contact me with a referral. Perfect! I left that day feeling like things were going to be fine. I did not hear back from the office so I called 7 days later. The first person who answered the phone asked me why I was calling. I explained the whole situation and she put me on hold...for 8 minutes. I called back and a different girl said that they had up to two weeks to contact me with a referral. So, I called back today, 19 days later and they still did not have any information for me. I asked if I could speak with Dr. Miller and the girl took my name and number and said she would have the Dr. call me back. I have heard nothing. I write this because I want to share my experience. Had it been only one instance I would not post this online for everyone to read but it was numerous occasions and this deals with my health. I thought others should know what they are getting themselves into if they go to these offices. Dr. Miller was great when I saw her but follow-up and follow-through, as well as care in treatment, are more important than just a single positive office visit. All my visits to the Doctor need to be positive because sometimes the news is not.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kushman and his office! My father has been going to him…read morefor years and has always thought highly of him. Recently he fell down and broke his hip, which at his age caused all sorts of complications. I wouldn't normally assume that a heart doctor would be our go-to in a situation like this but Dad ended up in the ER a few times because of a pre-existing heart problem so Dr. Bradley (who works with Dr. Kushman) became our champion and advocate. Despite all the health professionals and doctors helping us, no one was as consistent, reliable, caring and helpful in explaining what was going on as she was. Her presence and knowledge was very reassuring. Dr. Bradley made a difficult situation so much easier on all of my family. I also want to mention that Monica (the Office Manager, I believe) was instrumental in getting my dad help and directing us to the ER when the care facility he was at was unable to realize he needed critical care for his condition. She is always extremely friendly and kind to my dad when we visit the office (as are all the nurses and staff). Dr. Kushman is very kind as well and has a great way of explaining important health information. He is happy to take the time to answer all questions and give an honest assessment. My dad likes him so much, he recently 'fired' his doctor that was acting as his primary caregiver and asked Dr. Kushman to take over. It's absolutely unheard of for a specialist to offer primary doctor care but Dr. Kushman is doing just that for one of his long-time patients and we couldn't be happier! Thank you!!!

I have always considered him to my own personal miracle worker. I am sure he doesn't remember, but about 15 years ago I was vacationing at Marco Island. I was in the swimming pool with the kids who were playing Marco Polo. One of the boys accidently kicked me in the small of my back. It didn't really register with me until the next morning when I was so sore I couldn't lift the suitcases. On the two-hour ride home my back got progressively more painful and by the time we got home, my husband had to take me directly to the Emergency Room. We were there for most of the night while they took x-rays and examined me. They could not find any injury and sent me home with a painkiller - it was not effective. By the next morning I could not move because of the pain. My husband called Dr. Zager, who had us come in at 8:30 am, before office hours. He examined me and diagnosed an inflamed sciatic nerve. He gave me a shot of cortisone. It was miraculous. The pain was gone. It was literally a one-shot deal - I have never had a reoccurrence of any back issues. My husband also has several Dr. Zager stories, but those are his tales to tell. Thank you, Nancy O - November 15, 2017

I was told that I had lupus a he sent me to the perfect hospital. I had to take a kidney biopsy an of course Dr. Nayer was there for me. When the results were proven true Dr.Nayer made sure I was doing good in the hospital. When my feet and legs were swollen, my kidneys were failing, my face was swelling up, and my blood pressure was to the roof only Dr.Nayer was there for me.
