The office building he is in has everything you could want or need from a doctors office. The have a lab for blood draws and analysis, a pharmacy and ex ray services. The story is long, but i saw the NP Lauren, and was dismissed from the very beginning. i told her…read moreall my symptoms, and she said 'what do you want me to do about it'. i was shocked, but asked for scans/testing. she left the room, then just said that they were ordered and i can leave. over a week went by without any calls to schedule, so i called in and her nurse had forgotten to put them in the system. she then got snappy with me and said it would take a month to do. yeah, no. i asked her to do it faster as i've gotten referrals in a week-10 days before and asked why so long, and she said 'oh my GOD i just told you'. the referrals still never got put in and i had to talk to a different nurse there to get it done. i will never recommend this place, i went elsewhere and immediately got care, and my health issue resolved within a week. unacceptable that i suffered for months for something that could have been an easy fix.

My review is strictly of the doctor, detailing my experience with Ms Hollowell, (I will only address her as Ms not Dr because I do not deem her worthy of that distinction) what it is not is a review of your hospital or the practice where she now is a member.  My goal in writing the review is to inform potential patients of my experience and the personal consequences of my unfortunate medical encounter with Ms. Hollowell.  I am going to note that when I asked the hospital to recommend which doctor to see from the practice while scheduling my colonoscopy Ms. Hollowell was not it, she was however the one with the first available appointment. I now ask myself, was that my misfortune or my mistake? My second goal in writing the review is to inform the hospital and the practice of the potential liability that they may face by giving her surgical rights or employment within their practice.  I cannot change history, and undo what has happened to me, but I can inform others that there can be dire outcomes that they should be aware of by choosing Ms Hollowell as their surgeon. Everything I have stated in my review is what I experienced, what I have been informed by medical professionals that specialize in gastric surgery, and by information that was shared with me although I cannot personally verify others accounts for accuracy, I can only repeat it .  Again, this is simply a review of my experience. This has affected my DAILY life, my physical and mental health and been a financial burden that I cannot afford.  My motivation is so that no one else will have to experience what I have. No one else will wake up in the night with severe pain, no one else will have to be a prisoner of their home, no one else will have to fear driving a long distance, or getting on an airplane, or being anywhere that there is not a restroom readily accessible, no one else will get immediately sick from eating the smallest portion of food, no one else should be told that they now face a shortened lifespan, are more susceptible to certain cancers and illnesses, no one else will have to be frustrated, depressed, sad or angry that this was the outcome of a "routine procedure" meant for the betterment of their health not the demise of it.  And that none of the countless medical specialists that I have seen should feel the need to profusely apologize to me for something that they did not do. If sharing my story will help even one person avoid this outcome, then I have accomplished the bare minimum of the control that I have over this situation, with the sincere hope that it does not happen to them. I was check in and was ignored unless they needed something. Push the call button immediate attitude. At one point I was in so much pain I was crying and trying my hardest to get comfortable so I pushed the call button nurse came in offered me a pain med I had already been given that didn't work got all pissed off I said it wasn't working and left me there in pain for THREE HOURS with no substitute and no other help. The only nice nurse I had was the one in the morning the where wonderful and let me have the room after I was discharged so I could lay down instead of sitting in the waiting room since that was painful! I hope to NEVER go to those again
