It's been easy to schedule an appointment and/or go into the office for urgent care. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes to be seen (they must schedule really well). The doctors are very thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and with good follow through. One of most wonderful things about the practice is that they listen to you....no turning their back to you while they use the computer or anxious to move on to another patient. They address you by name and ask about things we've talked about in the past. I've been cared by them for little issues as well as suggesting/follow up surgeries and other more involved procedures. Chris, their Medical Technician, is the best. When taking blood, you can't even feel the needle and he always gets it the first time. He is very personable and makes giving blood a breeze! However, I chose not to make an issue of it because I trusted Dr. Regulapati and respected her practice. I am not someone who complains easily, and I have always hoped that things would improve. As I have gotten older, I have started experiencing severe back pain. I have tried reaching Dr. Regulapati several times over the past ten days, but I have yet to speak with her even once. Every time I call, I feel as though I am begging for the opportunity to speak with someone, rather than seeking help from my own doctor's office. My interactions with staff members, including Urutra and Ramya, have been particularly disappointing. I question whether they understand the importance of professionalism, courtesy, and compassion when dealing with patients who are in pain and seeking medical attention. On the other hand, I would like to acknowledge the young women who work on weekends. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and professional in addressing patients' needs. Their conduct demonstrates the kind of service and respect that every patient deserves. After being a loyal patient for so many years, I find this experience deeply disappointing. Patients should not have to struggle to reach their own doctor, especially when they are dealing with severe pain. I believe it is time for a change. Long-standing patients deserve to be treated with respect, compassion, and professionalism. Recently, I tried to cancel my appointment twice 3 weeks prior and still got a text saying I am scheduled for the appointment. Asked to update my phone number at least five times but they were still calling my husbands number. If it takes so much work just to cancel an appointment/ update a phone number - I absolutely cannot imagine depending on this practice for anything more important, ie my health. I hope the group can do something about this - you have good doctors, just a terrible system.
