Jenna came in we discussed my problem areas and other concerns, she explained where she was going to place the needles and if at any time it was uncomfortable let her know. My 18 year old daughter has been dealing with menstrual problems for the past 2 years and the only resolution by medical doctors is birth control. Dr Nazar gave a natural alternative to begin the healing process for my daughter through diet, supplements. Acupuncture, and taking care of the problem at its core rather than covering it up. After trying for two years, a year on our own, and the second year with a fertility specialist, we finally determined the clock was running out and we needed to consider IVF. The cost of IVF was so great that we agreed we would only try once​, even though we discovered so many people fail multiple times with IVF before reaching success and our Dr. confirmed there was only a 25% chance of a live birth for someone at 40 years of age. This was disturbing to us considering the process did practically everything for you. I then found articles pointing to Acupuncture as a positive solution to greatly enhance the success rates of IVF, and since we only were willing to take ​it on ​ one time, I immediately searched for an Acupuncture Specialist that specialized in fertility or IVF, when I came across Dr. Michael Fiorani at Plantation Acupuncture. Not having ever done acupuncture, I was a bit nervous and did not know what to expect. Dr. Fiorani made me feel extremely comfortable immediately and addressed all of my questions and concerns with confidence and compassion. I began treatments with him two months before I was planning to go for IVF, to improve my egg quality and address uterine fibroids and endometriosis which all may have contributed to my issue. I saw him weekly for four weeks until one morning, I found out the unthinkable! I was pregnant!!!! I continued with Dr. Fiorani throughout the first trimester and not only did we make it through the danger zone, but I also never experienced one bit of morning sickness! He will give you immediate relief. My husband suffers from extreme back challenges. He has had two surgeries. This is absolutely the ONLY thing that gives him relief. They are a blessing! His beautiful wife is at the front desk, and they work as a seamless team to make it a very positive experience there. We drive 45 miles (over an hour from the Redlands area of Miam) to Sunrise for his magical treatment. I believe he also has another location in Delray Beach. One of our close friends was bragging about their acupuncturist. I said that ours was better... Lol I asked his name. He said Dr. Du! Lol So I believe he has a second location for north from Sunrise. Being treated by him for over a year was amazing & was part of my self-care Thursday's. He treated me for migraines, was working on my severe insomnia, bronchitis, & hot flashes due to Menopause. First things first, the hot flashes. Oy! In SoFL, I thought I was dying, it was so bad! Seriously, 6 months of acupuncture coupled with a supplement from him & now, the only time I have hot flashes is when I eat something I'm not supposed to. It's been glorious & I'm so grateful to him for relieving me of those horrendous hot flashes. Second, I saw him for bronchitis & I'm honestly sad I didn't see him for it earlier.
