Although, I have to say, other than a few unusual patterned t-shirts, the type of fashion is not really to my taste. The shop would be perfect for the trendier men out there though! Prices are average, and most t-shirts cost around £10, which is general to most chain retailers; So you're getting something unique for the same price. It's a shame that shops such as this are hidden away in shopping centres outside of the city centre. I can see this store being very popular if it were located in central Brum.

Popular, and occasionally you will find a great sale on, they also have some nice outfits for men. Certainly take friends and family with you on your visit here. Whatever colours you prefer they sell. I like how they speak lots of languages, and it's more convenient for my mothers generation who knows that she trusts what they're saying about their garments when she can speak to them in her own language. I'd recommend visiting the store, car parking is available nearby, and the shop is served with bus routes regularly from the city and West Bromwich. Quite busy on the weekends though.

I did ask if they could reduce the price by a small amount but they couldn't. What I will say is that the staff here are very friendly and will help you if you need it. They will happily answer your questions and offer you advice. I did find some sherwanis had way too much embroidery but I guess there are Asians out there that like Indian suits with plenty of sequins/embroidery. I was looking at men's suits in the size 34 which is what I usually wear. I did not approach or ask for help from anyone. A sales assistant advised me that "you're not a 34, you should try a 36". Fine. You're entitled to an opinion. I told him I am a 34, and that is what I usually wear and so proceeded to try some of the suit jackets on. They have a decent selection. Same sales associate seemed to be lurking around and came up to me to tell me 34 is too tight and will not fit and I should try the next size up. I did not ask for anybody's opinion. 34 is just the right size on me, a little snug, but that does not matter to me. I know what my own size is. It was not too tight, and if he thought it was, fine, but I did not ask for his advice. Either way, the customer is always right. Even if you think it looks ridiculous, you keep it to yourself and sell it to the customer because let's face it: they have the cash to spend. I went upstairs to see their single jackets on sale. The colleague upstairs was great - really helpful, explained everything about alterations and sizing and hiring, and totally understood that if I want to try a 34 and it fits better, that is what I should go for. The first guy wasn't totally rude, but it was uncalled for and I doubt I will go back in a hurry. Clothing selection was vast, but they don't mix and match sizes which is annoying if your legs are one size and your chest is another. All staff are sharply dressed and the store is nice and clean. Apart from the one sales associate, it was alright.

They stock Modj favourites such as Harringtons, button down shirts and desert boots but also have a great range of women's dresses for very reasonable prices; I picked up a lovely 50s print shift dress for a mere £10 the other day, which would have cost me double that anywhere else in Birmingham. I also found a Burberry trench for just £25 which might still be there if you're interested. There is a small changing area which is handy and the owner was pretty helpful when I enquired about a style of dress that I was after. I've visited the stall a few times now and he always tells me when his next delivery of dresses is due. All in all a great little stall where you might find a real gem if you look hard enough. Which meant i did not receive the outfits in time for the wedding. I was constantly promised they would arrive I even offered to come to store to choose shades. Upon delivery date I called and they told me they will call back regarding outfits, I recieved no call back.. This mean't I had to rush out last minute to purchase a western suit. And this one is very stylish to say the least. Good fashion and trendy pieces that are well spaced out and not all crammed together. You feel comfortable browsing through their T-shirts, bags, shoes and accessories. The owner is currently sorting out his own website for the store, as it's still relatively new and just opened. In the future they are looking to offer there own gift cards! You can't go wrong in here what ever you are looking for. This is totally independent and I would recommend this store to anyone.

I have to admit though I was a bit gutted to find they didn't sell much clothing for women. Having said this thought they did have some styles for males and I would consider shopping here for close male friends and family. As you can see from the picture Urban Style clothing doesn't exactly look the business. So having more urban style decor would really the appearance live up to its name and possibly entice more customers and compliment the style of clothes. I can't complain about the prices because they are reasonable. The jackets start from twenty pounds, trousers start from ten pounds and tops start from five pounds. The styles are nice as well! We all know customer service can make a small difference to anybody's shopping experience and the guy working here was very talkative, informative about the products and friendly. This would tempt me even more to go back again.
