I opted for the ghoulash and spaetzle, and my husband chose the schnitzel with fried potatoes. Because of the location, prices are a bit higher than what we have found elsewhere. Still, the portions were large. We were also brought rolls, patè, and pickles. The taste is the patè and pickles was very mild. We then received our order, and both dishes were very good. The ghoulash was a heavy pepper sauce, and the spaetzle were perfect to soak up the sauce and extremely tender beef. The schnitzel was huge and covered in sautéed onions and provolone cheese. The fried potatoes were ample, and the addition of some salt and ketchup made them even better. The entire meal was good, and the people watching was great! A nice place to retreat to on a late spring day.
