But I have been dying to get a massage. With some research online I was able to find Spa-Mobile. Basically they bring the spa to your home. You simply go on there website, pick the therapist you like to have and pick a time. The price is not much more that a massage you would get at a spa. They also provide insurance receipts. Now let me tell you about my experience. After I booked online, I received an email explaining all the safety precautions they take and how the procedure the day of the massage will look like. Then once they are on their way to your house they sent you a text message with a link that allows you to track where they are exactly. Once they get to your place, they set-up where you tell them to. The massage table is very professional. They set it up, put a heat blanket then put the sheets on top. Once every thing is set up, they sit with you and go through a questionnaire about your health and which areas you want the massage to be concentrated on. Then she goes to the bathroom to wash her hands while you lay on the table. My therapist was Claudia, and she went over and beyond. She brought white sage to clarify the room, she also asked me what type of music I like, which she then played on the IPad she had. Last but not least, she brought fresh cucumbers which she placed on my eyes. Once it was over she again went to wash her hands while i put ob my robe. (Benefits of being at home). She gave me her card and asked for me to pay via e-transfer. Later that nice, she sent me the receipt and the insurance paper. I will never go to a spa for a massage as this was the best massage experience I have ever had. Keep in mind before the pandemic i use to have 5-6 massages per year. I needed help to relax the muscles after a long flight as I was going to race at Ironman Mont-Tremblant on Aug 18 (Sunday). Also, I had a hamstring/hip injury which was continuously bugging me during my runs, especially towards the end (after 30-33 km) in Marathons. Her treatment did miracle! Not only I felt insanely fresh in all the muscles, but also the soreness at my problem hamstring/hip area almost completely disappeared. This was remarkable - as this was the first and the only time I visited her (I am from California, USA, not from Montreal)! I could do my first Ironman Race with ease (well, relatively speaking!
