So we went for their music last night, they didn't make it clear that this was some sort of private…read moreevent. The man at the door was incredibly rude about it and was unhelpful when we asked about becoming members. When he went back inside we spent a few minutes in the doorway sheltering from the rain while we looked on our phones for somewhere else to go. The doorman came back outside, this time with a friend and a bucket of water. THEY TRIED TO THROW THE BUCKET OF WATER AT MY GIRLFRIEND because apparently they saw me spitting on camera.

In fact, she and her band were great for the one set my wife and I stayed around for. Going in I knew there'd be a hefty cover charge of 27€, or about $38. Okay fine--I'm in Paris so what the heck. We went in to discover the room was split in two with drinkers not watching the show occupying about three-quarters of the space. After indicating we wanted to watch the show we we ushered to some surprisingly good seats near the front, even though the stage was empty as the first set was over. We were quickly given menus where I discovered ALL drinks cost 27€. Even the soft drinks! But they gave us a 'break' by discounting the second drink by 50% to ONLY 13.50€. Such a deal! Okay, again I thought, it's Paris. Our wait to order drinks began. 15 minutes later the band returned and played three numbers very well. No server in sight. The featured singer came out and belted out more tunes well. No sign of the server. Suddenly drinks were placed on our table, and then unceremoniously yanked away. Oops, wrong table. Still no approach by the server, though she was scurrying around elsewhere in the room. After 45 minutes or so the set ended. Pretty good, but our mouths were dry and patience used up. We got up and walked out. Not a peep from anyone. C'est la vie! Not worth finding, this place. Look elsewhere.

Went last night to see Racing 92 v Munster at the U Arena...pretty good security to get in...great…read moregame...but this is about the stadium and to be Olympic stadium Was well organised, American style with inner rings...plenty of loos, plenty of food & drink outlets, plenty of helpers, great transport connections, lockers outside to put excluded things in, clean...but...while you can drink champagne, wine, beer...and they even come round in the arena selling Heineken (ugh)...you can't get a coffee or tea anywhere inside (it was freezing outside, very warm inside, then the aircon came on and was drafty) we needed something hot...did I say Olympic stadium...needs a little rethink on that one There are lots of restos all the way there too btw But impressive place all round otherwise, great sound, screens, replays...holds 20-40,000 people depending on set up Some spectators complaining about closed roof, AstroTurf, no weather conditions...but it was a good experience, very enjoyable...but of a change from Yves Le Manoir! Go Racing!
