The second time a woman answered and I explained that I had an emergency and wouldn't be able to make it. She's like too bad your aesthetician is already waiting for you we can move your appointment to 5:00 PM but if you need to change your appointment there will be a $25 fee. I kept explaining my situation to her but she didn't care. I couldn't make the appointment, I reached out to Groupon because they redeemed my Groupon without me actually having had any service and then proceeded to lie to Groupon so I couldn't receive a refund. Looking back, I can't help but feel that the skin check was mainly a way to justify charging the $50 copay, since no treatment or procedure was actually done for the cyst. Throughout the visit, I couldn't shake the feeling that my concern was more of a bother than something the doctor genuinely wanted to help with. After examining me, Dr. Gutierrez said she wouldn't perform the procedure and referred me to a plastic surgeon instead. When I asked for the billing codes she had mentioned earlier, she refused to provide them, which left me feeling frustrated and misled. One thing patients should know is that this office asks for full payment for procedures upfront rather than billing insurance first. You have to wait for your insurance to process and maybe refund you later. They were quick to collect the $50 copay just to tell me to find somewhere else -- even though they're already getting paid significantly more through my insurance just for that visit. It's frustrating to see how many doctors now pick and choose which procedures they want to take on, while still charging full visit fees. Title: Disappointed with My Neck and Facelift Results - Should Have Trusted My Gut with Dr. Solomon…read more(July 2025) I had a neck and facelift with Dr. Solomon on July 15, 2025, and unfortunately, I'm really not happy with the outcome. It wasn't done correct. I don't think he did a neck and face plane lift. I didn't feel tightness or any pain, but I looked like a monster. Left with scars I followed every post-op instruction to the letter: all the massages, care, everything. I was never told to wear a headband or compression garment (which I've since learned is common for better neck/jaw contouring in these procedures). The results? There's barely any noticeable difference, especially in my neck and jawline--that was the main reason I did this in the first place. I had some complications during recovery with my face, nerves , which added to the frustration. I don't think he did what I paid for. I think he cut me and left me scared and that's it. This cost me $$$$$, and now I'm in the process of consulting other surgeons to try and fix/revise what was done. It's heartbreaking because your face is what you present to the world every day, and you deserve to feel confident and happy with it. My advice to anyone considering facial surgery: * Do thorough research beyond just the website and office explanations. * Look for plenty of recent, high-quality before-and-after photos (not just old ones). * Trust your gut--if something feels off, pause and explore other options. * Don't rush; waiting for the right surgeon is worth it. I'm sharing this in hopes it helps someone else avoid the same disappointment. Wishing everyone the best results possible--be careful out there, ladies. I'm left with scars and a chin that looks like a witches chin which I did not have and my right side of my face has a deformation because of the cut that he did he went up too much on one side than the other.
