Easily located, right by high street Kensington tube station. Beautiful place, felt welcome instantly. Absolutely fantastic massage, felt invigorated - and I keep going back. Massages are amazing value from £39 -£59 for an hour, haven't found anything located in that area that good. I am a massage therapist myself and I have had both lessons and treatments at Zen Life. 8 hours of tuition at Zen Life taught me more useful and practical massage than many of the courses I've done (which lasted weeks and cost thousands of pounds). The techniques he taught me are among the most impressive I know and my most frequently used. I can't emphasise enough how rich in content this tuition was, and the knowledge and kindness of the teacher. I have received a range of treatments at Zen Life over the last several years, from chair massage, to hot stone, Shiatsu, Thai massage, G5 and,of course, his fusion treatments. I have had massages from about ten other therapists in the last few years, and none have rivaled Zen Life. He truly believes in massage as an art form and he delivers each treatment like an artist, always managing to strike the right balance and to go the extra mile. He's not too gentle nor too rough and he listens with a sensitive ear. He's had years of practice and it shines through his touch. Explain what you want and Zen Life will make it happen. I went to see Bradley of Zen Life for a hot stone massage in February 2013 and I can quite easily say in all honesty, the best massage I have ever had. I only have health spas, beauty salons and Morrocan Hammas massages to compare to but this just shows that Bradley is truly a specialist and a proffessional at massage. When you walk in the massage studio it is very tranquil with soft lighting, gentle music and a very friendly face to greet you. The massage bed was incredible. It was so comfortable with extra padding around the face and chest which you just sink into. I found the actual massaging exceptional. I felt like my muscles were warmed up thoroughly before the deep tissue massage began so that I could handle it. I usually find I am jumping all over the place with the deep tissue bit of the massage which ruins it but this was not the case with Bradley. So without me jumping about I could feel a lot of tension being released and knots being straightened out and it also feeling relaxing at the same time. It was very effective. Then when the hot stones came out, amazing! I've always been quite skeptical about hot stone massage, thinking it was gimmicky but after this experience I don't know if I can go back to massages without. The best way I can describe it is the feeling you get when you just get into a hot bath but over and over again and also mixed with a lovely massage. It was exquisit. Bradley massage was varied and used many styles that I was not used to all mixed into one. I am used to the standard Swedish but he used a bit of Thai and Hawaiin (I think) which were lovely and interesting and very effective. I was so relaxed by the end. All in all amazing experience. I have been really impressed with Zen Life. I am often not a fan of massages and I frequently walk out thinking that the money could have been used elsewhere, but that has never happened with Bradley. Every time I have been, I have had a really, really good massage experience - he is very good at tailoring the experience to my needs and is, basically, just an extremely gifted masseur. I also think that Zen Life is very reasonably priced and good value, and I would expect to pay more than twice as much for such a deep massage elsewhere. Not only is it an enjoyable experience but the benefits linger for several days. It is a tribute to Bradley that I keep coming back to him from North East London even though he is in Kensington and there must be literally hundreds of masseurs who are closer and more convenient. But I do not think that this quality of massage and value for money is available anywhere else in London - at least, I've never seen it. read more
