They have good hours including weekends. The not so good: They are ridiculously expensive with insurance and all. The price quoted for my lens after insurance alone was more than double the price I paid for slightly better quality lenses. None of it is made in house so all that price difference is pure mark up/greed. Multiply that by multiple family members- it's a no. Too much very good local competition and online to stay

I gave Dr. Ullman's office a try (it's currently Broadway Vision, I believe) and was really happy! He listened as I described that my old prescription for one of my eyes wasn't working very well and that my contacts seemed scratchy in my eyes, and I could tell he focused on trying to help me with those issues. I didn't feel rushed through my exam at all, as I've had with other eye doctors (you know, when they're flipping those lenses back and forth as fast as they can go and you barely have time to register which one looks better?). The selection of frames isn't huge, but it's surely worth checking through! One of the women working there was wonderful in checking color/fit options in the frames I liked. At first my main plan was just to get my current frames updated with new lenses, and to check to see if I might like any other frames. I did find some and then hee-hawed around, trying to decide whether to get them, come back later, or not get them at all. I LOVED and VERY much appreciated that I didn't feel pressured even a little tiny bit to get the new ones. Which I eventually did. :) Oh--and their exam prices were the best I could find after 5 calls around!

I have never been seen within an hour of my appointment time. They are always running late, their office staff is rude and obnoxious. They booked my appointment for 10:15 AM today, confirmed the appointment time with me by email and text. I got here before 10:15 and the doctor still isn't here at 11am. When I asked the office staff how long the doctor was going to be because I had things to do. They said they had no idea where she was because she was running late because of the weather. It isn't raining and the weather isn't bad so I don't even understand what they are talking about. They also tried telling me that they don't even book appointments for 10:15 when obviously they do because they confirmed it with me several times. And then both employees went to the back and we're laughing about me where I could hear them so unprofessional and rude and no respect for people's time whatsoever. I will never come back again.

I asked her why he got glasses her response was he wanted them. You are the professional you could have said it's not enough of a script change to make it worth while and never did they offer THIS YEAR to use the old frames for the new lenses. She knew he had two extra pair! 2/11/2025 when I reached out and asked questions about the extra 25 charge which sounded completely made up she got an attitude and snapped back if we didn't want the glasses to return them and she will give us our money back.
