We went over the border to see the Winter Festival Lights and stopped to get a few snacks, chips and sodas for our trip back to the States! It's a tradition for my son and I to try anything different we can't get normally from home! We love anything peach flavored and found Canada Dry Peach in glass bottles! I've seen them also as Presidental Choice Peach but I'm not sure if it's seasonal or just sold out. ( I didn't bother to ask this time) What I did find was Canada Dry Ginger Beer!?!?! Only 2 were left and it said "New"... When I tell you it reminded me of the Caribbean!!! That Ginger Beer was strong but in a good way! Also kept it's fizz! Leo joked that it was impossible to drink it quick, you had to take your time! This is coming from a 16 y/o!! I will definitely make a habit to stop through and purchase again! Supermarket was clean and organized. Staff were friendly. read more

First time in Canada, staying never the falls. Saw this place had good reviews. Great store- got a latte from the Starbucks inside. Store was laid out well, good produce section, amazing bakery section and saw lots of sales. And they sell clothes. We did self check out and the gal there was helpful when we had a question. Brightly lit, everything looked well-tended read more

I have dealt with the PHARMACY for a number of years and would consider no other. The staff go out of their way to explain and/or assist in whatever way possible. Thanks! read more

This has to be the worst Loblaws brand supermarket I have ever shopped at. we moved from Brampton a few years ago. We used to shop at Fortinos in Brampton. They were great. Price was high as you can expect from a grocery chain owned by a large corporation but service and quality were good. This Hers, not so much. Worst produce department I have ever shopped at. Poor quality and extremely high prices. Even in the aisles I have needed to check expiry dates as some on shelves had already passed their best before dates. Don't recommend unless you can't find what you're looking for somewhere else...which is what we typically do now. read more

Traveled from California and we were glad to have found this grocery store that has all you need. We were having trouble finding a store that had some of the food items we needed for our family at the Airbnb. This store is like a safeway/Walmart (like what we have back home) but even better. Check it out. read more

Worst store in Niagara Falls for having flyer items in stock. It is usually this way every time they have a sale

I shop at zehrs on morrison every week, spending a very decent amount as I enjoy the organic section. Today I wanted to pay some cash, some card. The issue was not with the new girl that punched it in wrong, it was who I believe to be a supervisor and a manger and thier attitudes towards the inconvenience, I must have made for them. The lady that I believe was a manger was rolling her eyes and shaking her head back and forth. I offered to just take the cash back and leave the groceries after about ten minutes, and got a head shake. The only one to apologise was the new cashier. I only waited 10-11 minutes, but after working all day and not eating it seems much longer, and a sincere apology and not feeling like an annoyance to them would have kept me coming back each week. I'll miss the organic section, but the attitude was uncalled for. read more

I was big fan when Zhers just opened up in Niagara. Prices were a bit higher than the other stores for meats and produce but the service and selection made it worth it. But alas in the last year, the service has suffered. Often no one can be seen at seafood or meat counters. The selection (of some food I like) has dwindled a bit and the worst part is prices skyrocketing. I still go, but only for select items as I can save a lot of cash going to other stores for staples. read more

Zehrs - the produce section of a grocery store - Grocery Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

PROBLEMS WITH PERSONAL SHOPPERS AND CURBSIDE DELIVERY. TWO HOUR WAIT FOR SCHEDULED PICK UP AND HALF THE ORDER FILLED. Have been using Zehrs weekly because of free curbside pickup service during covid and also because their fruits and vegetables are usually awesome. The past three weeks have been really awful. Waited over two hours last week for SCHEDULED pick up. Three calls later we kept being told the order was almost ready. After intervention finally by asking for a manager our order was filled. Only half the items that were ordered online a week prior. For example ordered one case of water and order said unavailable with no substitutions available yet cases of water were visibly stacked in the window. Almost all fruits and vegetables also not filled with no substitutions available?? One time..ok...but three weeks in a row. Manager said he would investigate and call us but never did.GONE TO OTHER GROCERY STORE. Will not return. read more

Ordered buns on Monday for pickup on Thursday morning at 8 am. No problem, lady took order and said they would be ready. Went this morning and was told buns still in oven and no orders were to be taken for that early a time. Rules should Be consistent. Had to settle for shelf buns. Not ordering them again from Zehrs again read more

It had all the things you need from a market. It had a deli. It had a nice produce area. The looked OK. We bought some fruits and vegi. We also bought a box of fried chicken, it was OK. The place was nice and cool, bright and clean. read more

Absolutely the worst grocery store I have ever been to. I needed to return a BBQ product that was bought 3 days prior and was NOT used. Was told rudely that I could not return it because it had been on sale. NO where on the receipt does it say sale items are final sale. Sales associate didn't even try to be helpful. Awful customer service. read more

I never thought to Yelp grocery stores until I needed one on vacation. We were looking for a grocery store after a long day of sightseeing. We were originally headed to Foodland, but it was closed. Luckily, Zehrs was around the corner and had everything we needed. It's like Safeway in America with a large bakery area, meats, deli counter, and a much larger selection compared to the Valu-mart we've been going to at Niagara-on-the-Lake. I was glad to be able to get everything we needed to make dinner. read more

GREAT grocery store. Lots of take out options for you to eat at home. Very clean and spacious. Parking is plentiful.

I was completely blown away yesterday when I went to this store to pick up a BBQ chicken. The price was shocking...$11.99 for a tiny little cooked chicken....WOW. I know this store is a little more expensive than other local grocery stores...but with others averaging $7.50-8.50 for the very same thing, comparable size etc, this completely floored me...It has become quite obvious to me that the Zehrs prices have increased substantially over the last short while, again much more than the other local stores. Going to avoid shopping here from now on for sure... read more

Be careful at this store. Shelves are full of expired goods (or close to it). They never have cashiers on weekend mornings massive lineups before 10am. All around NOT a zehrs store I would recommend. read more

Thank you so much for training your staff on Customer Service! Pauline in the garden center took the time out of her busy schedule to help me with my purchase. She and Sharon are a credit to you excellent Customer Service Department and should be commended for going the extra mile. Customer service is key for return customers and it is refreshing to know that big conglomerates like Zehrs allows their employees to connect with the public by taking much needed time to ensure a happy and satisfied buyer unlike other companies who think talking to the consumers is irrelevant. These girls were refreshing! Good job Team Garden Centre! read more

Nice grocery store. We were able to find organic baby food here, and it was close to our hotel on the strip (we stayed at the Marriot). Reminded me of a Target, but more of a super market. Clean, well lit. read more

Wow. Service at this store has completely plummeted. The staff is literally angry. I get that everyone can't run around with a big, helpful smile on their face all the time. But neither should the opposite be true. The staff here is simply angry. After interacting with 3 angry employees in my search for an item. I gave it one last go. And I literally had the rudest service I've ever received from an employee at this store. An item I wanted was not in stock. I asked this gentleman (complete oxymoron) where the nearest alternate Joe Fresh was. After receiving condescending comments about how GPS works (I don't have GPS) - he wrote out directions to the nearest Joe Fresh. Problem is - it wasn't the nearest, not even close. And his directions were the EXACT OPPOSITE of the proper directions. Take the QEW to 406 South. The store he was sending me was off 406 North. Take x cutoff, turn Right. (That cutoff isn't off the 406 South). If I had been given the directions to go the right way - the turn was Left. Not Right. You get the point - every exit, direction, etc. was the exact opposite of what it actually should have been. He delivered it all with a rude, condescending smirk. I knew when I left it was wrong. Thank goodness for the polite, helpful staff at Canadian Tire who got us on the right way. I like Joe Fresh. I like President's Choice and what the company is doing with their products (no artificial colours / flavours / etc). Well done. BUT...in the end staff can make or break an experience. Learn from Disney (they know the importance of front line staff, because they are the ones who interact with guests). I won't be back Zehrs / Joe Fresh. read more
