Since 2022 there has been a shortage of the popular Sriracha sauce. So when I came across Pepper Palace, I figured maybe they will carry this sauce. My first impression of the store, I thought it look pretty gimmicky. But to my surprise this specialty store, offers so many wonderful pepper flavored products. You have salsas, spices, sauces, and marinades to choose from. All of these items come in different levels of heat. Again I came for the sriracha sauce, and like so many other stores. They didn't carry the sriracha sauce, but they did carry a very similar sauce. Well actually, the sauce Pepper Palace carry's is waaaay better. read more

Amazing product I recieved as a gift. Unfortunately, when I went to store, after running out, the store had a back in 5 min sign. I waited for more than forty minutes and no one returned to the store. I had called 2 hrs prior to ask their store hours due to the holiday season. I was informed "open until 10pm" with no change to their operations. No one answered the phone when called multiple times while standing outside their store. Not even a call forward in place while gone for so long. I feel like I should have called to tell them when to expect a customer so they would be in their store. They clearly weren't there to open the exterior door as they said they would either. Gave up waiting even with my order put aside. Thankfully I did not pay for the order prior to going to the store. read more

I discovered Pepper Palace while on a bus shopping trip to Walden Galleria. Was very impressed with the astounding variety of sauces and spices. Took advantage of the buy 3 get 1 for free promotion. The sales associate Justin, was highly engaged, knew the products well, and pleasantly interacted with all the customers. Have not yet tried the sauces, but will write another review once I do. Sure wish there was a Pepper Palace in Toronto. read more

I really miss the days of the local Toronto shop we used to have, not tied to pepper palace whatsoever. this location is something everyone should come in an experience, but to me this store is not for me, the service and the select is great, but a lot of "gimmick" sauces exist here. I was literally in and out of this store within about ten minutes because everything here doesn't catch my eye. worth checking out if you have time to kill. read more

I figured I had died and had gone to a land of fire and brimstones! But this may be the next best thing! After growing tired of grocery store hot sauces it's awesome to have a store with plentiful selection. Two years ago we came here but thought it to be overhyped expensive and unnecessary. Two years later after downing bottles of Cholula, Franks red hot, Dan-T's, Cajun sunshine, Benito's, different Caribbean and many other grocery store sauces I needed something else to tantalize the tongue when working up a dinner! In the front of the store is a tasting selection of squeeze bottles (one night I even saw the clerk sanitizing them at the end of the night to maintain cleanliness with a certain solution!) a great way to try out some of their sauces before buying. I visited on multiple nights and they were always pleasant and helpful! Asking for their hottest bottle and one of the clerks showed me FlashBang (in the shape of a grenade) at 4 million scoville this is a hot one! It was going for $29.99 and you had to sign a waiver. They also had Maddog 337 Ghost peppers steeped in Tequila. I've tried it before and it's a creeper then a scorcher! After careful visual and taste analysis I purchased a Marie Sharpes Belizean plus a pineapple Serrano sweet hot sauce. They had a great deal. No taxes on sauce plus if you buy 5 bottles the 6th of least value is free. Plus with a big flashy bag you get a free hot sauce when bringing it back. So, with a friend I bought 2 bottles and he bought 3. We shared the one free one at our meetings at the dinner table during the night time. If hot sauce is your craving or addiction this place is your drug dealer. Super awesome selection! read more

Amazing first experience here! As a first timer in Canada, this was the first store I stumbled into and it was a great welcome to Canada. The business was very well kept and the employee working Jeanette, was helpful above and beyond what she needed to be. Pepper Palace the Planet's #1 Hot Shop. I agree I first discovered this place in Artegon Marketplace in Orlando Florida. (Which I just found out now is closed). Michael was very welcoming; he made some dishes that he kept warm in a crock-pot that sampled some of the hot sauce. There were a countless amount of samples of hot sauce and salsa labeled with numbers from 1 to 10 and 10 + indicating spicyness ratings This was a highly educational introduction to the world of spice, where I was informed about the Scoville scale, how hotness is measured. We were given information on the Flashbang, the hottest sauce ever and some safety precautions. One needs to sign a waver if daring to try.... I had the opportunity of witnessing 2 people experience the Flashbang. In both cases Michael was very calm while coaching each individual as they went through their test.... Words like "don't fight it", "breath through your nose", "enjoy the endorphins" are still words that I still remember. Turns out....what really takes away the burning if really unbearable is either sugar or lime. .....not water or milk For me, someone not as daring but still does have some interest level in hotsauce, Michael recommend Black Rose, not too acidic or smoky. Awful place. The samples taste different than actual bottle. Wanted to exchange for another bottle that was cheaper but manager would not allow because we lost receipt although it was purchased 15 minutes ago. Avoid this place. Bad product and service. read more

Shelves were very bare. It was also advertised as 50 free samples, by which you assume 50 free samples of hot sauce. Nope, that includes seasoning and BBQ sauces. Didn't take the time to count how many samples there were but I'm fairly sure it was closer to 20-25 than 50. All that aside the samples really weren't spicy. Ended up trying the "the end" hot sauce sample. IT. WAS. DELICIOUS. However 1 hot sauce can't redeem all the other hot sauce letting me down. To be fair I do eat very spicy and love heat but you'd think a place specializing in hot sauce could impress me a little more. read more
