The clothing department really feels like a hip city vintage shop but with better prices! I think they really decorated this place very well! Except the furniture department. Which is on the top floor. This department isn't very organized and prices are quite high. Also the stuff isn't that great. What I also like about this place are the spacious and nicely decorated fitting rooms. I also like that they have a café! With quite a lot of seats. You can bring items in here for sale, or buy their products. What i like about this shop, it does not look like a junk shop, which I often find to be the case in these type of stores that sell secondhand products or electronics. The shop is well maintained, and does not take any junk. FYI to men or women who may possibly be handy with their hands or define themselves as a handyman. I was in Haarlem checking out a potential rental and on the way back to the bus stop, spotted this…read moreplace and something just totally compelled me to go in and I'm so super glad I did! Once walked in, realized it was a second-hand shop and there were tons of shoppers in there. Everything was very neatly labeled and grouped together accordingly and everything also had a price-sticker which was totally great! There was also a small selection of English language books (mostly thrillers and chick-lit) and an enormous toy selection as well as tons of tableware and home decorative knick-knacks. Plus also really great selection of table lamps. I ended up purchasing one lamp myself and it was only €5! Hurrah - it was my first house purchase in the Netherlands! (I tried walking away at first, but the design was just too appealing!) The staff were super kind too. Since this was a somewhat impulse buy, I didn't have a bag, and so the lovely lady at the counter gave me a cloth bag, gratis, which was really cool of her. However, I thought that I would yelp about this shop, so you know a few places to hit up if your in the process of cleaning out your closet for the winter, spring, or summer. I was happy to hear from the owner that you get your items back if the clothes are not sold because normally other shops in Haarlem do not return them back. If your going to bring your clothes by here, then make sure that they are in good condition. Also try to avoid brands that fall under Zara, HM and Forever 21.
