What a fab shop! I Love Vintage, indeed!! The Mr & I were walking to our brunch destination when we had taken a wrong turn & ended up passing by, right as they were opening. I saw a Cartoon Dress being wheeled out to a sidewalk display & soon as I saw this dress, I knew it had to be MINE Noting where this shop was, we returned that afternoon & there was a huge crowd & a waiting list for the dressing room - an actual waiting list I loved this concept - the girl helping us took my dresses so we could continue browsing & then she came to find us when it was my turn to model my finds That cartoon dress was sheer awesomeness! I also found another 1920s-style dress that was hand-beaded & too lovely to pass up Best part is that they participate in VAT free shopping so I got my taxes back! I totally love this store! I love Vintage, it's one of my favorite clothing stores in Amsterdam. I love me some vintage! If your a big fan of vintage clothes, then I would recommend you stopping through this store near Prinsegracht. They have a collection of Brand New Vintage items from the roaring1920's, 1940's, 1950's and 1960's style. You can also purchase retro clothes here as well too. They have a wide variety of unique items to get dolled up for any event. It's a wonderful store with plenty of clothes and accessories to browse through. I notice some vintage shops in Amsterdam can be a bit pricey but the list of Vintage Shops that I am yelping about prices are pretty reasonable and moderate. read more

I'm so happy I stumbled upon this vintage shop in attempts to escape the rain! This store is full of gems, including "old made new" clothes (vintage inspired) and "old and loved" clothes which are actually vintage. The store includes a wide variety of shoes and handbags, dresses, jewelery, and adorable vintage inspired bathing suits. They even carry books on how to recreate vintage style with your hair and makeup. I found a beautiful pair of vintage inspired earrings for 17 Euros, and they had many pairs for only 3. Additionally, they had a 1 Euro bin of accessories, and many clothes on sale for 25 Euros and less! If you're in the area, it is definitely worth checking out! read more

We lost about an hour of our holiday weekend somewhere in this shop. I'm not sure if it was in the jewellery section where we were mesmerised by the fancy costume jewellery or in the handbag section with its display of beautiful old-timey bags. It was most likely somewhere around the dresses. The gorgeous, amazing dresses! Unfortunately, I'm not built for vintage clothes (too many lady lumps they're everywhere...) but my friends most definitely are. The dresses here are fantastic and the selection we saw was mainly 20s and 50s themed. There does seem to be all shapes, sizes and colours and any kind of vintage accessory you need to complete your outfit will be close at hand. The service is superb! Very attentive and friendly people. If I were into vintage I'd be a regular here. I came here with friends. Turns out this store does the 1 thing I wish other stores did: they let you pick your clothes online so you can try them on at the store! How great is that! Fantastic! Prices are reasonable. Some items are more expensive but there's something for everyone. Also, the sales woman told my friends that if there's a problem with any of the clothes after wearing they could bring the item back. read more

Oh man! I'm in LOVE. After eating at Pancake Bakery, my friend looked down the street and noticed I Love Vintage and was so excited because she'd liked the store on Facebook and had been trying to find it. So we went in to check it out. First, the store is super clean and organized, which I always think it quite a feat when dealing with vintage clothing. Second, it's not just vintage here... it's also new clothing that is very retro. Perfect for folks that can't get behind wearing other people's cast-offs. Finally, for the curvier ladies in the house, I saw quite a few dresses in extended sizes. I scored an absolutely adorable "new" dress that's totally 1950's... full skirt, cap sleeves, cute collar. I can't wait to wear it! And I considered it a steal at about 65 euros. read more

Due to previous shopping on their online boutique, I was already a fan of this store. They have the cutest vintage and pinup inspired clothes! I was excited to actually go to the brick and mortar location and I Love Vintage did not disappoint. There was fabulousness all around. Adorable dresses and petticoats everywhere. Deceiving store name as there is no vintage clothing at all. It is however mostly vintage reproduction and they're quite lovely pieces. Still, if I'm going to spend €100 on a dress, I don't like seeing they have 4 others of the same one. No one welcomed me or asked if I needed assistance...either they wanted me to get out because it was almost closing time or they were simply rude. read more

This may just be one of my favourite stores I've ever come across. I saw this place for the first time last time I was in town and thought it looked nice; I left carrying large bags with clothes. Now that I've returned I'd thought I'd give the place a look, see if I still liked it and sure enough, I was incredibly impressed and ended up buying even more than last time. The clothe are really nice with good quality(both their own brand and the clothes by other brands) without being way too expensive and the service is impeccable(refreshments were offered when I first stepped through the door and started looking around). I'm planning on going back before I leave and after that there's a big risk I might put in an order from their website since they ship world wide. Love! read more

When we where shopping here today it felt like magic. All the clothes she tried seemed to fit and purposefull for each another occasion. As if the dresses where made for her body.. We have been helped and advised by a very friendly shop attendence. She immediatly asked if i was wanting to have a cofee or tea while waiting. All clothes arranged by colour. Choices out of organic fabric. Many nice small unique accessories. Yes we are definitly coming back here!! It seemed like it was a choice of only the best.. read more

I always like my girlfriend shopping here as they seem to have lots of dresses she likes (and in the right size too), and more importantly for me, they have seating so I don't have to stand around while waiting for her to try things on.
