DT#243 I place an order in the drive thru . I made 2 orders of the egg rolls they charged me for 2 only got one , didn't get any zax sauce for my meal , no dressing or fork for my salad , no straws for my drink after he told me it was in the bag. I called to ask to inform about there error and no answer . Not the first time it's happened but this time they really messed up the order. The last month I've really noticed a big difference in the quickness, and the quality of our orders. Quit going for many months because food was often cold and took much longer than it once did. I frequent the restaurant quite often..like 2 times per week during the day. Here is the thing they have recently started closing one of the drive through lanes,,everytime I ask it is for a different reason. Well, the reason doesn't matter, it is stupid. Open the lane so more people can come through. This evening, I have watched 3 cars drive off. Just doesn't make good business sense to me. Prices have increased, while the quality and quantity have decreased. Today will probably be my last visit to a Zaxbys. Had to wait for someone to take my order ( I was the only person at the counter ), and then she acted like it was a chore to take my order. My to go order came quickly, but when I opened it, it was mostly fries, with some of the smallest chicken fingers I have ever been served. I used to look forward to eating at Zaxbys. Since this store has reopened, they have become a "concept store". I do disagree with the concept of not allowing customers to swap fries for onion rings anymore. We frequent this Zaxby's often. Great location in Easley, inside seating is limited, additional seating on a lovely deck out front to make up for it. Food is always fresh and of typical Zaxby's quality. I have noticed, however, that portions have gotten smaller with no price adjustment (as with most restaurants these days). We've been eating at this location 3 or 4 times a month for years. Never any complaint other than weak iced tea (we tried the tea several times and it was always very watered down) so we opted for sodas). Everything else was awesome! Fast service, very friendly and pleasant staff, good food, cheap prices, quality was always great. BUT, the parking and the in & out access has always been terrible. A few years ago I even got my car totaled, hit from behind on 123 while trying to make a right turn into the narrow first driveway. We looked forward with great anticipation to the new one opening at this location. Don't bother trying to get in & out. Access is horrible, parking lot design is very small, and a horrific "one way" mess. The optional second driveway is now gone, as well as the back exit to the shopping center next door. The new back exit is one way out (right turn only) through a residential area with NO access back to 123 for over a mile. The employees are parking in a lot next door because their own lot is way too small. It's just not worth the hassle and the risk. With traffic being what it is on 123 even a right turn out, that close to the light at the corner is a risk, and a wait for some kind soul to risk their life and vehicle to let you out. The back exit, the "scenic tour" through the residential area, being so long on a winding and hilly road has to be a nightmare during heavy rain, ice and/or snow. I won't be back. I'll miss the food but it isn't worth it. :( read more

My husband and I decided to get takeout food tonight from here. Monday night, shouldn't be busy so no issues right? Wrong! I got a chicken salad sandwich. I can't eat iceberg lettuce so he asked for romaine (3 times). I got iceberg. The amount of chicken salad was less than a 1/4 cup. I had to spread it out to mostly cover the bread. My husband wanted to try the white cheddar bites (think squarish mozzarella sticks). They were cold. We only live 10 minutes from there. Melted fried cheese should at the very least still be warm. Very poor customer service. I had two seperate orders and she insisted she could only take one. I was forced to pay for one, drive around the store, and then proceed with the second. Due to their snotty teenagers that run drive thru, I will not be back. For what they charge for food, they should at least have decent customer service, but instead I was left thinking there was probably spit in my food. read more

We just visited this Zaxby location. We waited in the drive-thru for a good 10 minutes before we could even order with only 2 cars in front of us. After we finally ordered and got to the window it was yet another 15 minute wait just for our food. We ordered 3 grilled chicken sandwiches with two of them plain, you would think it would've gone by fast since that's a pretty simple meal to make. There wasn't a line inside and the workers were just hanging around talking. We should have at least gotten an explanation as to why we were waiting for 15 minutes for 3 sandwiches. After waiting 20 minutes in the drive-thru, we ordered 2 Wings & Things meals. When we got home - 15 minutes later - we found 2 Kids Nibbler Meals. I tried to call back several times and finally put the phone on speaker but no one answered. I called again the next day and was told a manager would be contacting me. That didn't happen so I called again the following day. I was told to come in and we would be given the correct meal free. They did as they said but the hot honey mustard Chicken was dry and did not have the flavor as before. We have decided to travel a few more minutes and order from the Zaxby's in Powdersville. They are very gross with food also people! They don't handle it in a cleanly way. Never wash their hands but wear gloves like that helps germs lol the sauces for the boneless and traditional wings they squirt it into the bucket and shake it up, them buckets are hardly ever washed or never. The squirt bottles get dropped on the floor and picked back up. One employee was talking about how he'd pick something up off the floor and serve it that had me right there. The dishes in the back are always piled up like no one ever washes them. And they reuse the same metal ware that's under the lights I didn't see them wash it out for three days I couldn't work at a place like that anymore. There are employees there that try really hard to be clean and can't keep up with how fast others dirty up. The floor always has food and trash in it. They rather be talking than sweeping. Someone has to get a different managers because ones that do not care will never do better. It's such a nice store for it to be treated so loosely.
