The atmosphere, especially outside weather permitting, is relaxed and inviting. Every dinner starts off with complimentary crostini topped with a light bruschetta. I have enjoyed many dinners here and recommend going with a plate of antipasti options or pasta. My favorites are the long noodles with tasty shrimps and rucola or the large tortellini with porcini mushroom sauce. The melanzane is also really delicious. This substantial primi is served piping hot in an oval casserole dish filled with slices of Aubergine (eggplant) covered in a rich tomato sauce and gooey mozzarella - lecker, lecker, lecker!

Overall, I enjoyed salad and the portion sizes were very large. I would've let that slide and left a 4-5 star review, because hotel restaurants do tend to be pricier for the quality. However, I bumped my rating down to 2 stars because of the service. While I was staying at the hotel, I decided it would be nice to bring my laptop and work in the patio area while having lunch. The patio area was close to empty (it was around 2pm) and there were several other men working on their laptops as well. As soon as I finished my food, I started getting dirty looks from the waitress. She kept stopping by my table asking if I wanted anything else. I kept saying I was fine, thank you. Finally, she asks "can I get your check?" When I said yes, she came up with some elaborate story as to why I had to go inside to check out and essentially asked me to leave my table to check out. Had the restaurant been busy, I would've been fine with being rushed out. The two men I saw also working on their computers did not get rushed out. This is completely unacceptable and I would never expect this treatment from a female waiter. That being said, I had previously eaten at the restaurant, and the two other waiters who helped me (both male, one German and one Indian), were both fantastic and very friendly!

But the food was just too plain, the rice had no taste, more just like a normal water boiled rice. I couldn't tell the difference from the lamb and beef, and the beef was rock hard. I can totally understand how busy and rushing they were, but they can definitely do better. Overall the meat was not good for the price you paid for, there are more choices just a block away. It's your choice. Service was ok under such circumstances, just bad ratings on their food.

The restroom also leans into the vibe with a full on jungle atmosphere that I found delightful. Service throughout our meal was incredibly attentive with our waitress helping us to make some difficult decisions given the fact that the whole menu looked amazing. For starters we got the pani puri, crispy fried pakora spinach and a side of curry vegetables. For dinner we had the chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, lamb shank, tandoori prawns, tarka dhal and naan. I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite dish because we truly loved everything. It was a great final dinner for our vacation and would highly recommend this restaurant to friends.
