While taking Uber to a museum nearby, we saw this Zara on the way, and made it a point to stop by. So after a full day of looking at outdoor pyramids, we found our way to the same Zara using Google Maps. When we entered, we felt that the inside temperature was hotter than the outside. My cousin was there for probably good 2-3 hours searching through and trying on clothes. I found a cape jacket that looked really elegant. I searched the US Zara website to see if the price is the same--but it turned out that the jacket was cheaper here by around $30. The employees don't speak English and I feel like they refuse to, but my cousin and I knew our basic Spanish to get around. She found several clothes for work and I got the cape jacket. Good deals! Sums up the whole store, 1 employee doing everything. (Female) all the males doing the bare minimum with attitude. This store doesn't care about your customers and won't let you use the restroom. I should really stop shopping here but I hate myself too much to do that. read more

Great location, spacious, long ass lines for the fitting rooms and registers, but that's typical Zara.

If you're not Mexican and Spanish-speaking, prepare to be scrutinized and followed by security. Also, prepare for rude salewomen flipping open the fitting room curtains while you're still inside trying on clothes without warning for no apparent reason and then dropping it back down without an apology. After I was done in the fitting room, the saleswoman by the entrance of the fitting room took hold of the garments in my hands to check that the alarm tags were still attached to it. I gave her a cold stare, and in English, I informed her that I was buying the dresses. She naturally didn't understand me. I've shopped in several Zara stores here in the US and by far the Zara in Mexico City by Zocalo area was one of the most unwelcoming and rudest places I've ever stepped foot in. Zara corporation needs to give them better training on how to properly treat their foreign customers. read more
