Zara Creative created the most amazing wedding trailer and film! Their team is beyond talented, accommodating, creative and they are just amazing people to work with. Their work exceeded our expectations tenfold. Not only did they capture the look and feel of our wedding in a beautiful way but the entire team was so professional and kind the entire weekend. They blended in seamlessly into our wedding and all of our guests really enjoyed getting to know them. I've watched the film 100x now in the last 24 hours and I still can't get enough. Our best decision in our wedding planning process was hiring Zara Creative as our videographers. I can not recommend them enough. read more

They made our dream a reality, and added fun to our disaster ridden wedding day. We don't know what we would have done without them. The guys were so professional and we felt like they were a part of the bridal party. Thanks for making our day full of fun and laughter. We had such a great experience with Zara Creative as our videography team! I loved the youthful, fun style of their wedding videos and I booked over a year before our wedding to make sure we got them. Heather Zara (the owner) is so confident in what she's doing that it really relieved a lot of our stress. We had 3 videographers (including Heather) and they all had great energy. I loved their creativity and they had great ideas on what we should do while filming during the day. They even interviewed us at the end to see what our favorite parts of the day/night were. I've already gotten the wedding trailer back and I love it! I can't wait to see the rest of the footage. If you're looking for a professional yet modern videography team, Zara Creative is the way to go!! read more

The Zara Creative team moved to Troy in March of 2013. Our office is located in the Troy Place Business Complex right next to Somerset Mall.

Meet the Business Owner: Heather Z.

Cinematographer, producer, editor, client relations specialist, social media guru - Like most small business owners, Heather does it all! You might actually recognize Heather from TV - before starting Zara Creative, Heather was a TV reporter, anchor, and host since her days as a student at Michigan State University. Heather worked at WDIV-TV, Local 4, the NBC station in Detroit, for three years as the morning traffic reporter and was a regular sports and news reporter/anchor. She also worked for the Detroit Pistons as a feature reporter on pistons.com and for TV show, "The Pistons Weekly" on Fox Sports Detroit. Heather also hosted a daily sports show for her alma mater - "Michigan State All Access" on msuspartans.com. Heather started her TV career at WLAJ-TV in Lansing as a sports reporter and producer and interned at FOX 2 in their sports department. In 2006, Heather won an Emmy Award for her work on the college TV program, "MSU & U".

Heather has produced two amazing videos for our company. The first was our company's handshake video and the second was an outtakes video from the first filming that has been a hit with our clients. Heather is a professional who always makes her clients feel comfortable with their experience. Her work speaks for itself. Just check out the high quality videos she has produced. Rick and I sat down tonight and watched our entire wedding film. I am speechless. ZC captured parts of my wedding that I didn't even know happened.
