Zanescapes subcontracted on excavating and hardscaping for a renovation. The layout was tough and space was *tight*. Harlan (& Dustin) did a fantastic job dealing with the known - and many unknown - challenges. We just had an amazing experience with Zanescapes. Brandon was awesome. He is professional and polite. He was able to give us a very reasonable estimate for a French drain at the north side of our house and although it did take some time to get to us it was well worth the wait. They are extremely busy and now that I have had the pleasure of doing business with them I can see why they are booked out for months! For those who posted unhappy reviews all I can say is I am sorry you didn't get to experience the high quality service they provide. We did wait several months but they informed us up front about the wait time. I would not hesitate to call them again in the future. Absolutely worth the wait! read more

I contacted Zanescapes for some tree work in early July. We needed to have a tree removed and have some canopy trimming done to maintain the scenic view from our deck. At the time that we accepted their quote (July 19), we were told that they were busy and it would be 5-7 weeks before they could get to our job. We agreed and waited for them to contact us to schedule the work. Fast forward to late September, and I contacted them to ask when we could expect the work to be done. It took over a week to get an answer and were told on October 7th that it would be about 3 weeks. It is now November 8th and I still have not heard from them, NOTHING at all. Not even a courtesy call to say they were running long it would be another xxx weeks, NOTHING. Needless to say, I have called them, and had to leave a message of course, and told them that to cancel our contract. If you want decent service and a company that cares about its customers, I would highly advise staying away from this company at all costs. Tom L. read more

Zanescapes is the BEST!! Thank You for an outstanding job. My walkway and landscaping look amazing. We bought our lake home 2 years ago and we had crazy ivy growing up the house and under the deck, I called several places and the only ones that would help remove was Zanescapes. We were so thankful and they worked so hard, we did not forget. So.... recently we needed some landscaping, Zanescapes was the first and only company we called, once again they did not disappoint! When I made my appointment for an estimate they explained upfront that they would be happy to come but were very honest and upfront that they were 3 months out on jobs. I had no problem waiting. I received my bid on May 4 and my work was completed August 7. Another job Well Done, it looks beautiful and I have had several compliments already, with people asking who did the work. These guys are awesome. They came out gave me a very good estimate got me on the schedule immediately. They showed up and did an amazing job so good that when they got done with my wall it looked so beautiful I had them put me a flower bed in our front yard. They made sure it was all cleaned up before they left. Would recommend them to do any of your outdoor yard work. read more

This is the third and LAST time I have left written messages on the Zanescapes site and three times there has been absolutely no response. Perhaps it is because I need a compete revamping of our backyard and not a commercial order, who knows? Now I give up. I should have after the 2nd time. Not a way to do business. Known these guys for years and would heartily recommend them...not only for tree and yard and sprinkler systems but putting up signs and building fences (who knew?) and all aspects of excavation. Do not recommend this company at all. We received an estimate from them Sept 2020 for landscaping, irrigation system and seeding the lawn. They needed to become approved with the POA prior to getting any work done. The owner never responded to the POA in October and finally got approved in November putting our job on hold. We did not really mind that but when it came to the second phase of reseeding our yard, we were told they would be here last week of March, first week of April. Did not come and did not call to reschedule. They had to be chased down for an answer. When they finally did show up, the guy said he did not know anything about the daisies or the seeding. He was just there to dump dirt. He finally got ahold of his boss because he did not know what was going on. Finally around 6 PM, his boss came and they started laying down seed when it was pitch black. I have called several times with no return calls. Only after my husband refused to pay the invoice did er get a response back. Still has not come back, lawn looks like crap and we now to find an actual landscaper to come and do a total reseed. We live in a golf community and must keep our lawns well groomed. We will get fined if we do not fix soon. read more

They came to look at a job for us, said we'd get a quote soon. Four months later still nothing. I even followed up & they said we were "on the list". I don't think they had an intention of giving us a quote & didn't bother to tell us that. Very rude & unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend wasting your time on them. read more
