Moving is stressful. SO STRESSFUL…read more Now aside from packing your entire life up and moving to a new residence. Imagine moving from one state to another state. It's a terrifying experience simply because, in most cases, you know absolutely no idea what to expect from a new town/city. Everything you were so familiar with is now gone and you sort of need to start fresh. When my partner and I decided to move from Las Vegas, NV to Dallas, TX I quickly took to yelp to find the realtors of TX to help us with our search. Dallas Luxury Realty popped up as one of the top finds. I started to read the reviews, went on their website, did some research, and decided to reach out via their website one late afternoon here in Las Vegas. Early the next morning KAELYN FARIA got back to me via email and then called to follow-up. Now, when I say hanging up with her was like floating on cloud 9 - you know, that feeling that you have no worries in the world, you're just twirling around on clouds (me, on my carpet) -that's exactly how our conversation went. She put my stress at ease, provided me confidence and put a plan together for us. Within 2 weeks, I found myself following her all around Dallas, TX looking at houses, laughing in empty homes that once held other memories and really showcasing all our wants/needs before our eyes. The ease of working with her was just phenomenal! After 2 days of looking, we found the house we really wanted, put in an application and by the end of the week it was OURS (I mean, not ours, since we're renting). We could not have done this without the help of Kaelyn and Dallas Luxury Realty. THANK YOU for making this process so easy for us.

While living…read morein Kentucky, we decided to trust Sharmy to help us in our first home-buying experience from over 800 miles away... She exceeded all expectations! Obviously, buying our first home was a little nerve-racking. So, we really wanted to find an agent with experience in the industry and a history of success with remote purchases. We found that in Sharmy. From the very start, Sharmy put our minds at ease. It was obvious that her top priority was to make sure we had the best possible experience. Throughout the process, she ran around all of the greater Dallas area with a smile and "Happy to help" attitude. In this market, I know it had to be exhausting for her to run around showing tons houses for us... While also teaching a couple "first-timers" things that we needed to know. However, she did it all gracefully. She made it seem like she wasn't even breaking a sweat. She was patient with us over the first few weeks while we figured out where we could compromise and what was actually important to us. She worked with us as we adjusted our criteria over time. Through the process, she intuitively helped us discover what was going to make us happy long-term. Sharmy is truly in the business to HELP her clients. If you're nervous about buying from another state, Sharmy will FaceTime you while showing houses and answer any questions you may have. She takes feedback well and learns your needs with each interaction. Additionally, if a house smells bad... she'll tell you it smells bad. If an area doesn't have a great resale value... she'll tell you up front. If she wouldn't touch a house with a 20 ft. pole because of an issue that stands out to her... she'll tell you! I love that she puts the negatives out there just as quickly as she tells you the things she sees as positive. She clearly thinks about your long-term satisfaction... she's not just trying to close a deal. Sharmy is an agent you can trust. You'll be happy you did!

Add the fact that the housing market collapsed the year earlier to stir up anxiety as well. I was introduced to Crystal by a mutual friend to help me with everything. Not only was Crystal extremely knowledgeable, personable, and hard working, she always quickly responded to all my questions, but she was extremely efficient. We closed on my first home very shortly after meeting. In 2012, my wife and i decided to move to another city for work. Crystal and her team was there to help me with the purchase of my next home and helped me become a real estate investor by renting out the first house. In 2018 when I decided to start a real estate company Crystal was there with her contacts to help me get started and has since helped with the purchase and sale of multiple units. Over 10 years of excellent service, respect, integrity, and collaboration. A lot of people like to throw the "family"word around when trying to get business. I can for sure say that with crystal and her team it's not a tag line, it's a promise.

A good friend who had relocated from NYC a few years ago recommended Crystal. I'm glad he did. Crystal spent a lot of time on the phone with me to get an understanding of what my family was looking for in our new home. As important s finding a nice house was, equally important was the area - schools, community, quality of life, affordability, etc. When my family and I arrived in Dallas, Crystal met with us multiple times, and she found us exactly what we were looking for. But, that was not the end. Crystal coordinated with my real estate agent and attorney in New York to line up closing dates and work through the process. Real estate transactions in Texas are very different than in New York. Crystal walked me through the process and was always available to answer the tons of questions I had. Being out of state made working though issues like the inspection and related items stressful, but Crystal took care of everything. I highly recommend Crystal as an agent - from a local more or for a move from out of state, Crystal is the agent you need.

Why? I'm not sure. Maybe it's just super hot in Dallas and people just can't be bothered to work all that hard. Maybe it's because people here just earn less on average and so they don't have the financial incentive to put in as much work. Whatever the reason is, I've honestly found it quite difficult to find high-quality professionals here who take pride in their work. Todd is one of the few I've worked with in my 5+ years of living in this city who really stand out. He's just an all-around consummate professional. Todd has an incredible depth of industry knowledge and general housing experience that he draws from that he used to guide my wife and I throughout our first home purchase at the beginning of September. And in the rare instance that he didn't know something, he always took the time to research it and follow-up as soon as he could. But even more important for me was Todd's humility and integrity. While real-estate agents are often seen as simple salespeople, Todd never came a cross as salesy whatsoever. He would always try to remain impartial, objective, and honest, even if that meant compromising his own bottom line. I could see Todd's integrity a mile away, which is why I felt comfortable trusting him with a transaction of this size. While I don't know for certain, I think I'm pretty safe in guessing that Todd is quite well off. He's not desperate for business and he does a significant volume of large transactions annually. This is extremely important when considering a real estate agent because the more desperate they are, the more likely they'll do whatever it takes to close a deal, even at your expense. At the same time, you don't want to work with an agent who is too absorbed in their own success that they can't bother to spend any time with you. Todd is truly that rare mix of humility, integrity, experience, and detail orientation that makes for the perfect real estate agent. I started this homebuying process thinking real-estate agents are just people who pick up the phone, talk a bunch of nonsense, and collect a handsome check after doing effectively nothing, and left on closing day absolutely certain that I would not have been able to do this without Todd. I highly recommend him and am happy to share more details about my experience if you want to reach out.

From the beginning, she impressed us with her level of preparedness and professionalism. She was also quick to respond when we had questions and stayed in constant communication with us regarding feedback from showings and other events during the process. She helped talk us through every step of the way as we received an offer and went through negotiations. From the inspection, some concerns were noted. We contacted her to discuss it and she had already lined up the appropriate professionals to verify the concerns and prepare quotes to help us in our response to the buyers. Negotiations were smooth with no major issues arising. We had already narrowed down the general area in which we were interested in living. She provided additional information based on her knowledge of the area which enabled us to further narrow our search. We quickly found a property and she was on top of the negotiations. She has a team of venders available that was helpful as the inspection identified hail damage to the roof.
