Everything was great and I used Mark for two years. I believe his husband came aboard and started assisting, which was fine until my pure bred Yorkie, who is a service dog, ended up with a horrific hair cut, basically buzzed completely off, that cost me over $100.00. This was one day before the temperature dropped to 30 degrees the next day. I did not hear back until it was time to do monthly nail clip, and I was still devastated and told him "no thank you please cancel," and was charged a service charge out of nowhere. I recommended Mark to so many people, but the fact that I had always tried my best to bring them clientele, and always tip well, I never got an apology or even an offer for a refund or free service for the future. Nope, I got "you still owe a cancellation fee of $50," and was only removed bc I had thrown a fit. Makes me sad since my babies were used to him. read more

Unfortunately, today I have to leave a not so pleasant review. Jeff with Zander's came by 1 hour before scheduled appointment making me rush out to leave from work. This is my first time using them. Our prior groomer had a change in their business due to family, which has made the need to seek out a new groomer. Jeff and I spoke about what I am expecting my dog to be groomed like. He did not bring up any concerns before or after. He totally botched my dog. Didn't even look or smell like he had a bath. Everywhere is so uneven. Short, long, short, long. He completely shaved his face, so short he has bald patches now. This is nothing like what we discussed or like the picture I showed him and sent to his cell phone. He spent about 25 minutes in his van with my dog. As you can see from the pictures, I am a million times dissatisfied. I explained to him all the issues, but he still wanted half the cost. Eventually, it was agreed that the service was not up to any standard of professional grooming, and so I didn't pay. But what a horrible experience for myself and my dog. Jeff was not rude once, but this kind of service isn't acceptable. I obviously will not be returning. My poor pup. I really hope this business can grow and learn from this. read more

I am so happy I found these guys! They were so great with my dog Mowgli, he is normally very nervous but he liked them so much as soon as they met so I knew he would be in good hands. Mo smells amazing, his fur is so soft and clean, and they even gave him a cute bandana along with a little doggie bag of treats! Mo is a big furry dog so I was shocked at how quick they were and how much of a great job they did. I'm in Schertz and so the fact that they came to my house and parked out front with their van made everything so easy and kept Mo from getting scared. LAZY & CARELESS!! Don't use these people if you have a long haired dog that needs a proper groom!! We have a beautiful golden doodle with a long coat. She had a few very small areas of matting that we were aware of. We shared photos of how we would like our dog to look prior to the groom. Once they started they messaged us stating there would be an up-charge to get the matting out, we agreed to the up-charge, then later we got a message stating in order to fully get the matting out they would need to remove 1/2 of our dogs coat, we again agreed knowing this would only be a few inches as she was pretty shaggy. They then drop off a COMPLETELY SHAVED TO THE BONE DOG!! Zero warning and last thing we heard from them was that we were getting an up-charge for de-matting & it would be 1/2 of her coat. We were never told they were going to shave our dog. She looks absolutely ridiculous and we are canceling our family holiday photos that she is always a part of! They also cut her ears & eyelashes which no groomer has EVER done without asking (which we would've said no to!) This incident was PURE LAZINESS and terrible communication! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want someone who genuinely cares & has attention to detail and good communication!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! read more
