I've been a patient of Dr Zama's for a few years now. It's hard to express just how great a dentist he is. It's not just his talent, which he has in abundance. It's his patience, his demeanor, his empathy, and his sense of humor. I remember the first time I went in for a crown prep with him. As I waited for the shot of novocaine (or whatever they use now), I was gripping the armrests in anticipation. He massaged my gums, and while I was waiting for the pain, he suddenly said, "OK, done." Dr. Zama has been my dentist for about 4 years now and I don't know what I would do without him. Last week I came to him for help. My tooth in the front started turning grey and you can see through my crown. It was almost black making me insecure when I smiled. Turns out that my root canal started to turn black due to bad dental treatment, done somewhere else years ago. He took his time and really cleaned and disinfected the tooth and after placing a bleaching material through this small access hole on the back of the tooth now my tooth is white ! I just one of the worst customer service experiences. Long story short I was looking to set an appointment however I had not selected a office and I needed to get this dental group approved from my insurance provider. Once I did I called the office to explain what I was told. Maybe and I say maybe I was not clear, however after trying to make myself clear and it appeared the appointment taker did not understand what I was trying to communicate I stated maybe I should look for another office. They saw me in immediately knowing I was in excruciating pain. On Another visit I had 3 Crowns from beginning to end same day... Unbelievable I know. I've had horrible experiences with previous dentists where a crown would come from the lab two weeks later and not fit, it would be sent back and I'd wait another two weeks to no surprise the crown would be wrong again!!
