Zajic went above and beyond to help us repair our cooktop. They tracked down parts that were difficult to find. Frank took great care in removing our cooktop, as there was a crack in the corner. He fixed the issue with the burner and made sure that the cooktop and oven fit back together even though it was difficult because of how the cords were arranged. This is hands down the best appliance store in Sacramento, and they have an excellent repair team. Today Robert came and fixed our dishwasher that was leaking water. He worked quickly and efficiently and had a great deal of calmness, experience and skill. He even carried a spare hose that we needed for the repair with so we didn't have to wait for the part to be ordered and have another visit. It turned out the dishwasher itself wasn't at fault but it was our garage disposer, installed by a plumber a year ago, which had a total blockage of a drainage hose. Hence the overflow of water when the dishwasher was on. Everything was fixed and tidied up in less than 45 minutes. Wow! And only $145.00. We felt very fortunate. When we first moved here eight years ago we needed a new dishwasher and a refrigerator. Actually I insisted. I had a tantrum as the renovation budget was winding down... "But you promised me a dishwasher and an ice maker!" They installed both appliances and a special ordered fridge for an extra small niche that still fit an ice maker, and we are very happy with both. They've repaired our deep freezer door, put a commercial motor in our garage fridge so it can keep up with triple digit summers, and fixed our inherited and practically vintage stacked washer/dryer a number of times. We trust them to do the job right the first time, with efficiency and fair prices. My first experience was with an LG fridge, when I called the gentleman told me that they don't work on LG refrigerators but pretty much told me how to take care of the problem myself. I was looking for a Speed Queen washer and dryer yesterday. My husband called a few places yesterday and one place in old town Elk Grove, said that they were on back order for a month, for their Speed Queen washer and dryer's. Saying they are in high demand now. Other places either had Speed Queen washer in stock but dryer had to be ordered. Then the dryer wouldn't come in for a few weeks. My husband called Zajic and they had the Speed Queen washer and dryer I was looking for. I asked my husband when he came back from Zajic how the inventory was for, not just speed queen but other brands. He said it was huge so for those looking for a Speed Queen or any other brand. I would highly recommend going to Zajic for your washer and dryer. Also if you're able to bring in your old washer and dryer, they will get rid of for you. Not sure how much delivery cost. I did ask my husband how the stuff was that he interacted with. He said that they were friendly and polite very helpful. I'm rating a five star do too the fact that they have a huge inventory of not just Speed Queen but other brands as well. They were professional, helpful and polite. I've used Zajic for multiple appliance repairs from the dishwasher to dryer. My dryer started smelling like burnt popcorn over the weekend so I called them up, they sent someone out, and he checked everything, confirmed it was a build up of lint, and then, because they'd come out months ago to fix the dryer's heater unit, he said they should've cleaned it out then and comped the visit. Warning: look elsewhere for repairs. We had an issue with our dishwasher and the company replaced the motor but after they left, the dishwasher started to leak gallons of water all over the floor. We have never experienced this much leaking from our unit and it seems like they didn't reconnect a hose during the repair. I experienced a unique situation recently that required locating a mount for an over the range microwave that was no longer in production, and an Internet search did not prove helpful in locating a used one anywhere in the U.S. Rich provided me a used mount he had in the storeroom and suggested I find a welder that cold modify it to work with mounting the used Magic Chef I purchased on Craigslist. I'm going to provide a before and after story and hope that Zajic makes the after better than their before, which thus far has been remarkably disappointing. Called for digital read-out repair on an oven in a rental unit. I provided the model number of the appliance, and was given a price. I authorized the expenditure which, ostensibly, should have resulted in the part being ordered. After a miscommunication about the time of the repair, someone finally showed up. However, that person was not there with the part I had authorized; they came to verify that I had provided the correct part number. THEY HADN'T EVEN ORDERED THE PART. Upon confirming the part number again, he gave me essentially the same price I was quoted on the phone and I approved it. Again. Fast forward to the next week, when I had to call Zajic to find out if they were going to call me back and schedule the installation. Seems like they should have called me, but.... First person I spoke to gave me a date that I had to clear with the tenant. When I got the tenant's approval I called back, but Zajic hadn't held the time for me (even though they knew I had to call my tenant) and I was told that time was no longer available. So then we had to find another time. That time was today between 2:00 and 4:00. At 4:30 I called my tenant to find out how the install was going, to learn that no Zajic yet. Upon calling the Main Zajic number I was told he was still an hour away. And when the guy did finally arrive, he had the wrong part. So now I am waiting for Zajic to make this work. I'm extremely disappointed as of now, but willing to revise my opinion if they can correct their error efficiently and with grace. My front-load washing machine was leaking and my neighbor recommended Zajic. Best decision I made was to have them come out to fix the problem (very old gaskets). Justin M was extremely knowledgeable, fixed the problem and also checked the water pump. Turns out there was about $1 worth of change rattling around in there. Since the washer and dryer are stacked units built into a cabinet, I thought it was going to be major work. Justin M completed the work in less than 1 hour without having to take the machine apart. We've been in the store twice and both times we have not had a good experience. First of all, it smells like cigarette smoke for some reason. Also, there is junk piled in some of the corners, dirt/dust in the vacant appliance bays, and overall, it is just dirty. Both times the salesman has been busy. Okay, we get that. Today another lady came up to help us but she just stood there. She didn't ask if she could help us or anything. When I turned to her she immediately said she works in parts and could not help us with the "higher end" appliances (Bosch). I said "okay, thanks" and she went back to wherever she came from. We ended up just leaving. It was really strange. We are looking to make a substantial upgrade in our kitchen and I thought someone might be interested in helping us. We will probably end up buying from Ferguson's due to superior customer service. read more

We purchased a built-in Refrigerator from this establishment. The installers (sub contracted) delivered and installed the unit. About 1 week later we noticed the doors were no longer aligned very well and (we assumed) the unit settled in and reacted to the doors being loaded with food and liquid containers. We called and their manager came to our house to inspect and adjust. It took several visits with various parts to get things trued up satisfactorily. Zajic went the Extra Mile to make sure things ended up right; all the while with courtesy and promptness. We highly recommend doing business with Zajic. read more

FB WOM introuduced me to Zajic! And I'm thankful they did. To be transparent, I booked a consult with them because my parent's washer and dryer have been making strange noises. I tried to leverage YT to do an at-home fix, but it was too complicated for me. So, I called and booked an appointment for my parents, knowing I wouldn't be present when the appointment happened. They were kind and easily booked the appointment. Be sure to have the make and model ready when you call to book. They will give you a day for booking, but not a time. They will give you a window of time closer to the appointment date. It was $105 for the initial inspection to diagnose, which seemed reasonable to me. Maybe I'm wrong, but this was my first time having someone come look at their appliances. The tech figured out the problem and fixed it at their appointment. I think the cost was about an additional $80, which was again, very reasonable. This could be naivety speaking, but it felt worth it and I didn't have to try to fix it myself. I wasn't there to understand the customer service level or the employee's demeanor, but my parents had no complaints at all. The person explained the problem, fixed it, then explained what he did to correct it. These appliances are at least 10 years old and they've never had them serviced before. So, all in all, this was a great experience for me as the person who booked the service for my parents. We'll be calling them for future, regularly scheduled maintenance checks! read more

I asked about another appliance that had a minor issue and he knew right away what was wrong with it. I have never had a worse experience in my entire life! Moved into a new place. Dishwasher flooded the kitchen. It got "fixed". Same day, flooded WORSE. We ordered a new dishwasher on Sept 11. It's now Oct 1st and still no dishwasher in sight. They scheduled to install it on Sept 19th. No show, then an evening call (after the appointment time) to reschedule. So now a new install date, Sept 27th. That was also cancelled (not even a call). We called and reschedule for October 1st. Today is the day, and they couldn't "find the location of my apartment" and cancelled the installation all together, without telling me. I checked my ring camera and they never even came anywhere near my place. I called since they never showed, was transferred to SALES to fix this (when I asked several times what next steps would be), then got the rudest "I don't like your condescending tone" and hung up on. Which is wild because I was just explaining the situation to him, because he asked! Then I called again, and got the NICEST man ever at the front desk (you'll know when it's him, he's truly the only nice guy there and he's going through it with these wild coworkers). He put me on hold, then transferred me to the manager. The manager said "hello" and we sat in SILENCE until he was like "do you need something" and I was like "ummmm is my dishwasher coming?" At which point he informed me that the service was cancelled on their end. Wildest experience ever. A month in my new home and no fucking dishwasher! Pardon, but this is truly BS! I also walk daily in Midtown and have almost gotten hit by their service truck multiple times. TIP: Be careful if you see their truck! Their drivers are wild (probably why they can't find any properties they need to service lol). read more

Ok My parents have been using Zajic for over 25 years plus!! I had them repair my washer and Dryer!! Fast service to come and Check and Diagnose problems ! Order parts fast turn around and Finnish the Job ! First person came both times was polite and a great personality. After Repair was done something was wrong with both machines, I called and they sent out their lead tech and then diagnose problems and fix the washer yay and order another part for the Dryer. And this Tech was also nice and we had great conversation. Terrible follow through and RUDE on every level. Waited on the final part for my new gas range for 1.5 years. I called multiple times, and they always said they'd look into it and get back to me, but they almost never called back to update me. Finally, after multiple more calls from me, the part finally arrived. They didn't show up on the day that we had scheduled the installation, and it turns out they had scheduled it on the wrong day accidentally. When they finally came to install it the next time, the installation guys were rude, left unsecured parts that fell off while trying to clean it, then YELLED at me that it was my fault that a part fell into the stove, then threatened to just leave with the job half finished. The last time I spoke with the sales guy, I expressed frustration that my calls were usually not returned over the past year and a half and I was never updated about the status of the missing part, and he also yelled at me and lied that he had returned the calls (maybe to the wrong number? definitely not to my number).
