We heard the reservations were hard to come by but our hotel manager was a friend of the owner so he made reservations for us last min. The house bread was my favorite (omg i could eat like 10 of those pillowy breads) and the fattoush salad. I liked the kabobs (beyti kabob) but thought the lamb kabob was a bit tough to chew. Incredible food. I can be here eating ALL DAY everyday, in playful ambient and neat aesthetics. The yogurt with hot chilli in oil is mindblowing and unexpected gem. First night here, we ordered every appetizers that knocked our socks off, and were too full for mains. Updating my review one year later: food is still amazing, no doubt about that. Two stars for the rude staff. A group of four, we came at 10pm. We were told that the kitchen will close at 11pm, so we ordered the meat and mezes with a bottle of raki (70cl) right away. At 12am (there were multiple other tables still continuing their dinner), the staff started turning off the lights one by one until we were the one table that did not leave -it's not reasonable to expect a 70cl bottle of raki to be consumed in half an hour. We didn't leave until the bottle was finished (and it was all dark). I can understand that you don't serve after 11pm. However the practice here in ANY restaurant is that the staff waits until the table is finished. If you don't wait, you're supposed to tell that before we order a bottle. In summary, compared to last year, this place got spoiled because of the neverending customers -reservations were full until September 4th. The food is still great, but the staff will not be highly remembered. read more

This place is as reviewed. Hands down the best Turkish meal I ate in the two weeks I traveled turkey. 30 minute wait on a Saturday evening but well worth the wait. We tried the tomato salad and the house special both the steak and chicken. Full of flavor, perfect sized portions, great service. It's outdoor seating. zaika is one my latest discoveries in Kas. It offers Hatay cousine( which is a city in the south- @ Syrian border). The food is just AMAZING!!! it's located in a secret garden which makes it a little hard to find. You should definitely make a reservation a day ahead. Try yagli kifte if you're into spicy food! By the way anything in the menu is sooo yummy, you won't regret your choice for sure. read more

This is without a doubt the best restaurant in Kaş. You have to reserve in advance, at least a month. The main speciality is Saslik Kebap, which you also need to inform beforehand. Other kebabs and other minors are also very delicious. The prices are very moderate and affordable, can not be compared to Istanbul prices. The ambiance is casual, as expected from a seaside town. I visit this place every time I come to Kas for holidays, and recommend this place to all. read more

Zaika was the first restaurant we tried in Kas. When we read about reviews we thought it would be an unnecessarily expensive restaurant. Not only all the prices were quite reasonable, but also the food, service and atmosphere were all great! The gavurdagi salad was the best we've eaten so far. We ordered a second one after we completed our meal. The only thing you can find hard is the location as it is kinda hidden behind the hayta bar. And if you're looking for a place with kids menu (pastas, burgers, french fries or soup) this is not the place for you. However, after spending one week in Kas and trying a new restaurant everyday, we can say Zaika was our favorite. PS. We also learnt still burning cinder put in ground coffee keeps bees attacking your food away ;) read more

Best food i have ever had in Kas. Şaşlık kebap and the appetizers were delicious! The prices are tolerable. You should definetely try! Reservation is needed since it's always full esspecially between 20:00-22:30. read more
