The owner's fashion sense is 30 years out of date, but unlike so many other bars in Berlin, his drink menu isn't - and he's as much of a mad scientist with his flavors and ingredients as the place would suggest. The cocktail menu is vast but the host was able to narrow it down for us based on our alcohol of choice and general preference. The cocktails were all fantastic and the host (wish I remembered her name) was great! Minus one star only for the cloud of smoke inside - it is a relatively small bar and closed and smoking is allowed inside. It was a bit uncomfortable towards the end but the cocktails eased the pain! Return? YES! Just need to plan my next visit to Berlin ASAP.

Most of the time, it was a talk about the various types of spirits (vodka, gin, rum, whisky, liquers) and sampling the stuff. So we all had some 50 tastings of pretty interesting booze! Every Tuesday is a Rum night and some other smoker events happen here as well, but since I don't smoke, I cannot recommend them.
