I came to this clinic for a consultation regarding a dental cleaning for my dog. At that time, I…read morewas given an estimate of $700 to $900. A week later, I showed up for the procedure only to be handed a form stating the new price range was actually $1,200 to $1,600. No warning, no explanation beforehand--just a last-minute bait and switch. To be clear, the assistant I dealt with was kind and did his best to adjust the price to match what I was originally quoted. Despite his efforts, the lowest they were willing to go was still $990 to $1,200--hundreds more than I had budgeted for and agreed to. When I asked to speak with the doctor, hoping for clarity, I was met with dismissiveness. He deflected responsibility by saying, "I didn't have a computer that day," and told me not to hold him to the numbers he originally gave. The "computer" in question? A tablet--fully capable of accessing accurate information. In other words, he gave me a wildly inaccurate estimate and now expected me to pay for it. After going back and forth, I told them I no longer wanted the procedure done and asked for a refund of the $63 I paid for the initial consultation, since the information I received was clearly unreliable. They flat-out refused. This place does not stand by its word, its estimates, or its responsibility to clients. I'm writing this review as a WARNING!: if you want transparency, professionalism, or basic courtesy, look elsewhere.

Fortunately none of our visits were emergencies so I cant speak to that but for routine care they have been great. I'm shocked to see so many negative reviews and thankful that has not been our experience. Dr. Grasso & the tech's have always been kind and he always throughly explains everything. We trust him 100% with the care of our dogs.

After multiple visits, it's hard not to question why there is such a high staff turnover at this…read morepractice. Every appointment seems to introduce a new employee, and after what I've personally witnessed, that lack of continuity is concerning but not surprising. The exam rooms do not have doors, which already creates an uncomfortable environment. During procedures, there is always a staff member assisting with restraint. When my dog naturally reacted by moving his leg during a blood draw (a completely normal response), the atmosphere in the room instantly became tense. One staff member looked genuinely afraid--not because anyone had done anything wrong, but because of the doctor's reaction. Across multiple separate visits, I have personally observed Dr. Larry throw a used needle across the room, past an employee's head, into the sink. I've also heard repeated belittling remarks toward staff and witnessed behavior that clearly undermines and intimidates employees in front of clients. His short temper and apparent anger issues are not subtle, and it is deeply unprofessional to treat staff this way--especially in a medical setting involving animals and sharp instruments. Dr. Larry openly gave a harsh, intimidating glare in front of me, making the entire appointment extremely uncomfortable. I wasn't even the patient, and I still felt uneasy. While Dr. Larry does appear passionate about the animals themselves, his passion is overshadowed by his treatment of employees in his establishment and the consistent pressure toward the most expensive treatment options, products, or plans. It often feels less like a balanced discussion of care and more like a push toward the highest-cost solution, leaving me unsure whether those recommendations are truly the best option or simply the most profitable. That said, the rest of the staff is genuinely kind and caring. Dr. Luke is knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate, and the receptionist--who is Dr. Larry's wife, despite how she is spoken to--is incredibly sweet and always goes above and beyond to help. Their kindness is honestly the only reason I've continued returning. Unfortunately, no amount of friendly staff can fully compensate for an environment that feels tense, uncomfortable, and at times unsafe. Professionalism, respect, and emotional control matter just as much as medical expertise, and this practice falls short in that regard.
