I parked here when I found out the Apple Store validates parking in this garage. It was a typical parking garage as far as design. You drive in and get a text message that talks about parking rates. A similar system is used in new center area. Clicking a link is all you need to do. When I went into the Apple Store, they allow me to scan a barcode, and my parking was immediately validated. There's a two hour window after that you have to pay. There was no human interaction whatsoever. read more

There were positives, particularly the polite attitude. However, some parts felt less consistent than others, and I needed extra clarification. It was acceptable overall, but I had hoped for a smoother experience. read more

It takes a ridiculous amount by of time to get out of the garage. Save your money park at MGM Grand walk a little further. You will also save an hour sitting in the line to get out. read more

The Z Garage is safe and reasonably priced parking for the area around Campus Martius. Easily charged to your credit card.

We love parking in the Z! It's our go-to for parking when we are hitting Detroit. It's located in a great spot with a bunch of restaurants, bars, etc. The price is super cheap- only $10 in the evenings & on the weekends. Make sure you have a card on hand, no cash accepted. read more

Z Parking Garage - Floors - Parking Near Me - Detroit, Michigan

do not park here for a concert at ford field, we couls not move out of our parking spot tfor 1.5 hours!!!

Decent parking garage to any of the stadiums and places around. Just a headache getting out! Lol

On the positive side, and I think that's a good place to start, there's art all over the walls here. So much so, someone cross listed this parking garage as an art museum. Sort of on the positive side is that parking here overnight is a little less expensive than valet parking at the nearby Siren Hotel. About half the price of parking downtown Chicago, and about 20% more than parking downtown Milwaukee. Every now and then a security vehicle races through the parking lot at a speed that is unlikely to catch any property crime. It's clean. On the negative side, it's pretty expensive. Parking shouldn't cost more than breakfast. read more

DO NOT GO!!! Ghetto trashy most disgusting parking you'll ever come across. They have a free parking display sign then charge you for coming after you leave with fees through the mail read more

this is the worsr garage. we have been sitting in traffic for 2 hours at a complete standstill. there is no one directing traffic to facilitate movement. I would have rather paid 100 for parking then 60 here read more

Caution: the latest & greatest ticketing system has 4 options to confuse you in more ways than 2. Due to crappy instructions, Agent is always present to assist BEFORE you get your parking ticket. Oh wait...there is NO PARKING TICKET like the Parking Rate Board indicated as your Credit Card serves as The Ticket. Therefore, LOST TICKET does NOT apply. PARKING ELEVATOR has a view. PARKING STRUCTURE is spacious. Easy to park & get out as parking is most likely one-sided, not both sides with obstruction. read more

Went here for WWE Summerslam in august of 2023. We arrived to the car after the show at 12:30ish, and got out of there at 3 in the morning! This was completely unacceptable, as my kid had hockey games to play after, so he had no sleep. TERRIBLE WILL NEVER COME BACK. read more

This just might be the worst parking garage I've ever experienced in my entire life of traveling across the world. out of all the parking garage is this one makes you put a credit card or debit card in and then you have to use the same one when you leave. wow, that has ti be the dumbest ideas I have ever seen in my life because after mass of events people are stuck in this thing for almost hours sometimes and literally feels like you are trapped against your free will and you want to call the police. Whoever owns this garage really needs to think about what they're doing in life because this is just despicable. The pier lack of disrespect for the common person to have to use this is insane. Whoever really owns us just care about taking money from the poor people. read more

Always love this parking garage. Always available, it's in a good spot, the price is fair, and the inside is really cute

Most people have rated this garage good only because of the alleyway with all the art that runs between this place, and the fact it's one of the tallest building in Detroit (Not saying much) and is a great place to take photos. Here's what it's like actually parking here: I bought pre-payed passes both times I went to this garage, both times have gone exactly the same. I arrived on the Gratiot ave side of the garage and saw just the single gate that was gonna raise and let me in, I scanned my pass at the kiosk there, and then it proceeded to shut the massive metal gate and close the entrance I was at!!! I didn't have up though, and went and tried the second entrance to the garage, same exact thing! This time I had people behind me, and had to back up traffic just to leave the garage cause no one answered the attendant call box, and no one works the front gates!!! The same experience happened the second time as well, pre-payed passes, no entry. Both times I was required to buy another parking pass for a different garage! I will never spend another dime at this establishment, I will always make sure to park at MGM, where the parking there is 100% free and easy and there isn't a way to get locked out of the garage read more

I have parked many times at the Z garage, with no problems. Anyway, I could not get a hold of anyone on the phone to check their Christmas parking rates, since most times there is a $10 charge on the weekend. Yes, I know that this was a week day, and maybe because of the holiday, I figured it would be at least $10 to park - WRONG... It turned out to be $25 to park for 3 hours on Christmas day - 2 pm to 5 pm. And I passed many empty open parking lots to get to this place, plus many street parking spaces. I will be more careful for sure parking here, and probably take my business elsewhere if I can. read more
