Sandy has a very special talent--the ability to work with newborns to produce beautiful pictures…read more She is the baby whisperer and is in-tune with a newborn's cues. She knows how to calm babies and take pictures at exactly the right time. When the baby needs a break, Sandy will stop and even feed the baby, burp and clean him/her. When the baby is good and ready, only then will Sandy photograph the baby. We trusted her with our two NICU babies and the results of each of the sessions could not have been more perfect. We love the fact that she will come to your house, which is a lot better than taking a newborn to a studio. Her photos remind me of Anne Geddes' baby photos. She will recreate any ideas you have and has some amazing outfits/props that she brings. We have also used Sandy for 1 year old birthday photos and she again produced amazing results. Do not hesitate to contact and book her!

She took excellent pictures. We didn't want too many staged shots, but we did take several family pictures and they came out great! She caught some charming shots of before, during and after of the ceremony. Our dog was also there and Amy took wonderful pictures of him. Immediately after our wedding she emailed me saying she was going to edit the photos and send them to us. She sent us a disc with the images (not proofs), digital negatives, an 11 x 14 of the two of us, six 4x6 photos that we could give to our family as well as a photo montage of our dog. Not only did Amy really understand what we wanted, she proved it by capturing our night completely!! She did a phenomenal job. Her price was much lower (over $500 less) than any other photographer we spoke to. She put our photos on a link on her website so everyone could see them. Amy was also more flexible (time wise) than anyone else. She is an excellent photographer.

First of all, I am a HUGE picture guru, I LOVE having family pictures done... Let's just say this…read morewas THE WORST and MOST DISAPPOINTING photography session I have EVER had. I purchased a service for her through Groupon, checked up on her webpage and facebook page, didn't seem to see any negative reviews, and we needed a photographer in that area, so I thought her deal sounded great. (A roughly one hour session at a local park for $79, outfit changes if we wanted, and I would receive a copy of all raw images, from which she would edit five...) The initial apt set up was ok, but from then on, communication was a HASSLE. I had to call HER the day of our apt to confirm the appointment... It was raining on and off that day, so we decided to speak at 2 in the afternoon to decide if we were able to do the photos or not... I didn't hear from her, tried to call her a couple of times and heard nothing back... Until 4:15, when she called and said I'll be at the park in 15 mintues... We had expressed that we were staying 30 minutes from the park, and she gave us NO time to be ready... When we reached the park, she wasn't there... She went to THE WRONG PARK, even though I had confirmed the park with her... The entire photo session she was MUCH more concerned with her camera getting wet (mind you it didn't rain the entire time), then she was about capturing our family moments... Which shows in the pictures, because lets be honest, she missed 98% of the things a photographer would capture... She claims on her groupons to win awards for child photography... Not ONE good picture of my toddler, whose "essence" I can capture on my smartphone. I cried when I saw the pictures, they were just sad... The experience was horrible, my husband and I were so stressed out by her by the time we got to the right place that we nearly canceled... My assumption is she isn't really interested in doing a good job for groupons because people aren't paying full price... She is constantly posting "sneak peaks" and session photos on her facebook, and I sat and waited for ours to pop up and they never did- probably because they were so sub-par... Must I also mention that we are military from out of town and my husband doesn't have many chances to see his son, so these pictures were meant to be a special way for them to both remember each other... Which she failed to do for us as a family and for my husband and son... I find her actions to be completely disrespectful on a personal level, as well as blatant disrespect and disregard for military personnel... On another note, we had brought cupcakes with us as a cute little prop and reward for the toddler who had done a great job dealing with all of her nonsense... She looked at me and said "I don't get your vision for this." Are we serious? I have to explain to an artist that i want cute pictures of my husband and his son eating cupcakes together (which is one of their favorite things) and you don't get an artistic vision for this? This also shows in the photos, they aren't good, didn't capture the moment, and were a pure disappointment... Isn't photography about being artistic??? She also brought her husband and daughter with her, which I have no problem with, but halfway through the photo session, they walked right through our group and distracted our toddler- to me, this is rude. I did receive the RAW images from her, but when I told her which images I would like her to edit, she wouldn't respond... A month later I contacted groupon, who was VERY quick to give my money back... I still haven't heard from her...
