Classic Chinese takeout is never a bad thing! Just make sure to check your order as sometimes they get mixed up.

The only caveat is I would call this a great local spot. With four adults and 3 children ( 6-12) we had a bit of everything from the menu and everything was very good. From ribs to wings, club sandwiches and baked potato all were delicious. To me the most impressive part was the server ( Katelyn) as well as the staff that brought the meal to the table. All young, polite and just plain nice kids. Kudos to them all. If you are a local or tourist or someone in between this is a great spot to have on your list of "go to's"

"The original Buffalo wing sauce is a simple, spicy, buttery mixture of Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce (or similar vinegar-based hot sauce) and melted butter, created at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY, by Teresa Bellissimo in 1964" I spent my entire life serving the public and owned two very popular, successful restaurants. One for 10 years in Gainesville and the other for 17 years in Naples. I've never been treated more rudely while attempting to place an order. The thin server with black hair wanted to argue over what a "Buffalo" chicken wing is instead of just taking my order. This rude, condescending server with the terrible attitude wouldn't have lasted one shift in my restaurant. If not for my friends I would have left and will never return. Next time just stfu and do your job!

Up the steps to the host station. We were greeted and seated immediately. This place has all outdoor dining with views of the river. The TV on the wall above the bar was the biggest one I've ever seen. The menu had lots of options. I was there for the Gator Bites. Friend ordered Calamari and we split a salad. They used to have Kalick and Red Stripe beer but unfortunately they no longer carry those two beers. Our food showed up fairly quickly and was delicious. The Gator bites were tender with a light coating of breading. The Calamari was the same - tender and lightly coated. The salad was huge and really good except for the anemic tomatoes. Our server showed up only once to see if we needed anything (more water, please). The bill was very reasonable. Cheaper than most places for the Gator and Calamari. As we were ready to leave, a group of 16 showed up to sit next to us. I noticed, as we left, that the whole place was packed. They fill up quickly. We'll go back. It's a popular place that has reasonably priced food.

Based on an exuberant recommendation from neighbors, we gave Number 1 Wok a go -- and my reaction is NO. Maybe. Maybe? Well, Mongolian Beef was pretty good. Everything else, perhaps 1.75 on a scale of 5. So my intent is to give 'em a second try with a totally different order. -- Soup: egg drop wonton was devoid of taste. The wontons may be a tad better than other local takeouts. But not by much. Hot & sour was too peppery, with a thin base. -- Roast pork chow mein: blah! Salt, soy sauce, nothing much helped. I'm the first to admit that chow mein is a pretty mild dish under the best of circumstances, but this takes "mild" to a different level. Prices are higher than other take-outs. There was a steady influx of customers while we waited for our order. "Must be good," I said optimistically. Wrong.
