I used Yuma Pest for several years and got mixed results. Some of their technicians were thorough, and some required my supervision to ensure that they did everything I asked them to do. At that time, there were less options in Yuma, and I just coped with it in order to keep my home pest-free. Things got worse during the final two years of my dealings with them. They started showing up without an appointment, and there was the hassle of re-scheduling and adjusting my week around the day of their appointment. All the technicians, while pleasant, needed a constant watchful eye and I just got tired of it. If I called to complain about the work, they would offer to re-schedule another appointment for free, which was nice but inconvenient nevertheless. I discontinued my contract with them. That was a couple of years ago, and I have not contracted with any other company. I think it will mean having new lines put in and an initial set-up fee. Meanwhile, I have not noticed any termites or any termite damage, and so I will probably avoid looking for another company for as long as possible. read more

Signed a five year prepaid :-( contract with Yuma Pest in Feb. 2025 for termite treatment. When we returned from summer vacation our house had termites. There was no contact with Yuma Pest providing the quarterly checkup on video camera or otherwise. I terminated our contract even though it was prepaid and hired Ram Pest to recheck and retreat the property. Ram Pest found activity that Yuma Pest missed and replaced the worthless bait traps and I started a new contract. read more

The first few months they have been great and had zero issues. But the last year they have been a headache. No one communicates with office and tech. I've gotten NO courtesy calls on the weekends when they are coming and it's right at 7am or like today they showed up but no courtesy call on the way. I work from home and I could be with client and having dogs barking when the door bell rings really is not okay when I don't get courtesy call! The issue is they don't call you anymore and the techs do an amazing job and come out right away but something is going on with office and it's been an issue. I rather do my own pest control than dealing with this pain each time. I've been a customer since 2022 and lost one in 2025. So better with simple instructions. Tried to set up service after this company got a voice in our weekly meeting at the park. Original quote was no start up fee, and 24/ month. The company couldn't even get back to me to sign me up and when they came back a week later to try and sign me up again, they added $100 start up fee. We have had Yuma pest since we came to Yuma. They were fine. I asked many times for a heads-up so I would have my dogs put away. Never would they call, just come to the door on the date they told us when they would be there. The sprayer man left the gate unlatched, and the babies got out. I wouldn't recommend using this company. We had been using them for about 2 years and suddenly they became extremely unorganized & kept charging us the wrong amount every month. They would call, we would fix it- make sure we were on auto pay then the next month would come & it's the same revolving door. When we called to cancel they said they would waive the last charged fee (the wrong amount charged btw- again) & they just called me to collect the money they said they would waive! Good lord. I'll echo all the 1 star reviews here abt this company. They told my father that they came and charged him even though he never scheduled anything. On the date they said they came, he was home but they never notified him of their arrival. He asked them to prove they came but wouldn't provide any receipts. I had been with Yuma pest for 17 years, at my home, and then at my townhome where I rent. I thought I was moving in March so I stopped service. I didn't moved so I called them to start up service again. BIG MISTAKE. These idiots of course wanted to make a big production out of it. They said they needed to make an inspection, and then charge me a startup fee along with the charge for inspection. My condo is 1200 sq ft. It takes them 10 minutes to spray. I asked them if they wanted me to go elsewhere and they said , sure, go ahead. I guess I am small, useless customer and they don't want or need my business. Fine, Yuma Pest, w will never call you again. I'm not paying $175 to start up service again. Please, go out of business and close up shop in Yuma. They show up when they're not supposed to and don't show up when they are supposed to. Then, they tell you they were there when they weren't. Then, they say they did the front when they came unannounced, because of dog in the back. The dog is in back when they are supposed to be there. They argue about coming to do the inside; always blaming COVID, yet they want to do add-on services inside in your pipes. That was hilarious. They have a horrible reputation. Go somewhere else and spare yourself the annoyance. We called and asked if they could come out and spray and they gave us a quick appointment date. The guy came out to spray and told us $150 for he initial spray and one other spray 2 weeks later. While the guy was spraying in my backyard he fell in my pool ( which is understandable, accidents happen). When he was completely done I tried to pay the $150 (since I was initially told I could pay during the visit) but he told me that he couldn't accept payment and to call the office tomorrow. When I tried to call there was no record of the visit, so I could not pay..... then I get a bill in the mail. Saying I owe $250. I call and ask why and they state that I only had the initial spray and was not sure about why I was being charged $250. The lady said that they had a record of my house being sprayed more than once over the 2 month period. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that an automated phone call was made requesting payment and scheduling my next appointment. I never received this call. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told that they were on heir lunch break. After hanging up I received an automated call from Yuma Pest. I hung up and called again, asking to speak to a manager. There was a long discussion about how my house was sprayed more than once and I had to tell him that that is not possible since we have locks on our gates and no one can just spray without me unlocking them. In the end I was only charged $150 for the initial spray. Do not go to Yuma Pest. The lack of customer service and the lies are UPDATE (11 days later). I get a phone call from Yuma Pest staring that they would have someone at our house in 2 days (January 18) to spray. I called back and was placed in a "brief" hold for 6 min and hen hung up on. I called back and asked to verify that a message was left stating had a technician would be at my house on January 18 and the lady stated that her system is showing that he tech would be there between 10-11. I then told her that we cancelled our services with "management" over a week ago and paid the $150 the same day our services were cancelled. The lady said that there is no management to talk to so she doesn't know who I THINK I talked to. I told her that that's what we were told, that we spoke to management. She said she would talk to her boss right now and have my account cancelled. I asked what the name was so I could check in the status of my account tomorrow. She said it was Frances but she was out of town for he rest of the week. She assured me she cancelled my account as of today and that she would send the remaining bill in the mail today. What bill?! No one came out and did anything and I even cancelled my account 11 days ago!!!! I will update again and as many times as it takes to get people to go elsewhere. read more

Will not provide basic pricing to spray our home. Receptionist said they need to come and evaluate which sounded more like wanting to know exactly where I live to see how much they will charge depending on neighborhood I live in. Friends and family have warned me about doing business with them. They say the technician hardly shows up on time and they give you a two hour window so you have to wait around for someone till they show up. Yuma Pest techs are great. They know their stuff, can answer any of your questions, offer helpful suggestions, and often go out of their way to make sure you get a great service. However,.... the front office staff at Yuma Pest can be very frustrating. Their appointment employees have changed dates of my appointment, set-up appointments I didn't know about, failed to tell techs I had cancelled an appointment or failed to send the tech with the equipment needed to complete the treatment. I was a Yuma Pest customer for many years until October, 2019. Yuma Pest has a management policy where a technician will visit a residence without making an appointment nor approval by the owner. Then Yuma Pest will bill the customer for the work that was supposedly performed. I believe most people would like to know beforehand when the service will be done and for the costs involved. I certainly did not appreciate receiving a call from Yuma Pest telling me that I had an outstanding bill when I didn't even know that a service was conducted on my home in the first place!. My mother-in-law recently sighted a mouse in her kitchen and not knowing what to do, she contacted Yuma Pest Control. They sent out a tech who, in my opinion, took advantage of her situation. He wrote up a contract for $250 a month plus he installed large black boxes for rats which he charged $25 per month to come and check. It was a small mouse that she saw. All she needed were some mouse traps. We talked to management and they refused to rectify the situation. They have removed the large black rat boxes but they still want $250 as a charge for something that was never necessary. Needless to say, we are not happy with Yuma Pest Control. read more

Do not use Yuma Termite and Pest Control. This is a fraudulent company! They are charging my dead grandmother for services not given and have turned her account over to collections. Which that's not really the issue since my grandmother has passed and is beyond caring what her credit score looks like. The issue is that this company is flat out lying about it. They've continued to send bills for the last 5 months even though she has been dead and then sent a 48 collections notice today. This company was notified of my grandmother's passing in June. I called and spoke to billing who was more than happy to talk to me and answer all of my questions until we got to the point of them explaining how before they do a service they call and get permission. HOW THEY CALL AND GET PERMISSION. Once I started questioning these details she no longer wanted to talk to me telling me the account wasn't in my name. I stated she had been more than happy to talk to me this entire time right up until then even tho this wasn't my account and the account belongs to a dead person. Hmmm that's funny. They claim to have visited the office but they do not. I paid for separate pest control and although they billed me they failed to show. I want to add to my review. The former owner of our house, which is a pit-set mfg home with an AZ room set on concrete, had Y.P. install tubes ($500) under the home. Y.P. fills them with pesticide semi-annually to kill termites and other pests. The AZ room which is 10'x40' doesn't receive the benefit of the tubes because the pit in which the tubes are located are separated from the AZ room by concrete. I'm wondering why Y.P. didn't allow for that in their treatment plan. Had they understood the problem, and been spraying the AZ room from the inside, we probably wouldn't have the severe damage to the BR floor or previous ceiling damage in the entry. I'm questioning their knowledge of their own product and service. read more

Horrible customer service from the ladies in the office with scheduling and billing. The service techs were always great and did a great job, so sorry this review has to be a 3 because of the office staff. Several times, I had to call because the tech came out without letting me know ahead of time, so I wasn't home to allow them in to spray inside. One time, I was double charged and had to call twice to get that settled. Then we moved and called them to cancel the service. Four months later, they still went to the old house to do the service and sent an invoice. I called to tell them about the issue and then my card was charged shortly after. So another phone call. No apologies, no regrets from them whatsoever. So glad we're no longer their customer. read more

This company has provided termite and pest control for my husband and me at a former house in Yuma, and now for just me at my current house in Yuma I bought 3 years ago. Their services have been outstanding - both pest and termite control. Just before I took possession of this property, the previous owner had her termite control company come and treat the property. After I took possession I was changing the carpet and having the inside walls painted, and found active termites in the bedroom closet. I called Yuma Pest and Termite Systems and they took care of it within a couple of days. I have not had any active termites since. They are the best. read more

We have dealt with this company for a few years. We had them come twice a year. Last February I called and paid the bill and said I did not want their service again. In November I get a very rude phone call saying our bill was overdue and they were sending us to collections!! We had cancelled their service but I guess they don't take no for an answer.... they never sent us a bill at all. Being winter visitors, we don't know if they were here and did the work or not. They said they sent us lots of bills via snail mail, email and phone calls but we never received them.....yet yesterday at 3 PM they email us a letter saying to pay up by 5 PM or they are sending us to collections!!!! It was already after 5 PM when I got home and opened this email. I called and paid them today. I think it is a scam to get an extra $75 for Christmas!
