Mr. Kaplunovsky is the third attorney representing me for a divorce case. He was God send, followed up my case diligently, and got my case resolved in six months, and in my big favors. He charged me much less and in equivalent to less than one day work. My last attorney took my money (multiple billings) and simply ignored my case and my calls and emails. He did absolutely nothing but delaying my case for about three years. In the meantime, I had to keep paying spousal supports even though I should not need to. I higher recommend Mr. Kaplunovsky if you need a caring lawyer who will work on your case diligently. read more

This guy is a con artist. He does not know much about family law. His broken English makes it even harder for him to explain anything regarding the case or the due process of law. He has been representing me for a year now and I am still on supervised visits for no reason at all. I have repeatedly asked for him to file a motion to change the judge for over a year. He says they won't do it, I told him we won't know if he doesn't file. It was his idea to file a motion to remove minors council and never did that either. He constantly ignores my calls and claims he was out of the country. When he does answer he says he is in a hearing and we can confer in couple hours and never calls back. Horrible impression of an Attorney! I have asked him to resign since he is keeping my case at a stand still. I have asked him for a month now and finally yesterday he sa he would send the resignation letter so I can sign in 2 hours. Still nothing! I don't recommend you waste your time or money with this con artist. read more

Yuli is a great lawyer who cares and will work with you. While other lawyer wanted a retainer up front, Yuli did Extra work on my behalf for a reasonable amount. He will do what he can to help you. I highly recommend him, and I am a hard critic! Thank you for your help! read more

Esquire Eliyahu Yuli Kaplunovsky is the most amazing attorney I have ever met! He has been so personable, helpful, patient, informative, and flexible with his schedule and meeting me. I have a disability and therefore mobility issues, and he has been awesome in accommodating me and working with my situation and my needs. I have thanked him numerous times for his flexibility and willingness to accommodate. Furthermore, he is affordable with his legal fees/rates. I highly recommend him if you have any family law representation needs such as a prenuptial agreement, immigration, or other family law matters! Additionally, he is fluent in a number of languages, including English, Hebrew and Spanish. Thank you so very much Yuli! I appreciate you! Sincerely, Rod C. read more

Horrible Experience Lawyers are supposed to be educated professionals so one would expect a minimum degree of decency and professionalism especially from a lawyer practicing in California. I contacted Mr Kaplunovsky in the month of Jan 2018 regarding representing me in Superior Court of Santa Clara. Initially Mr Kaplunovsky wanted $250/- hr for representing me . However, he decided to represent me when i pointed out my poor Financial condition. Initially all seems well. However, gradually it became difficult to contact Mr Kaplunovsky both over phone and email. Moreover, nobody seemed to be ever present in his office. He did not even bother to respond to phone calls or emails.Mr Kaplunovsky failed to appear at my trial setting date and also failed to serve the notice in a proper manner to the opponent lawyer. Needless to say, he did not carry out the discovery process or the deputation of the opponent party inspite of several requests. My trial is coming on the 20th of September 2018 and i tried to contact Mr Kaplunovsky several times to get feedback about any progress he is making wrt to the discovery process and any other aspect. However, on the 22nd of August 2018, he suddenly informs me over a text message that he cannot represent me during the trial process. Even after that , i send him several emails stating that he should ask for an extension of the trial date as he is the lawyer on record and secondly he should inform me in writing that he is no longer involved in my case so that i might try to hire a different lawyer.Unfortunately, he has not bothered to respond to any of my emails. Such kind of behavior has put me under great stress. I had to be hospitalized in Antelope valley last month and currently undergoing treatment from a Cardiologist. I am going to report this kind of behavior to the state bar and also to the concerned judge. This lawyer claims that he cares about his clients and also to support them both legally and emotionally.NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.Also he only has approx. 3 years experience in practicing law in California. He also has several positive reviews on yelp but if you see carefully most of these reviews are from 2-3 years back. Unfortunately, almost nothing about my interaction with him has been positive. read more

I was in urgent need for a legal help, running out of time, calling lawyers one after another, all others declined to help, stating that it's H1B season and nobody has the time for my case or asking for insanely high fees, called Mr. Yuri and in minutes he understood my case and its urgency, few hours later he sent me a draft of all needed papers for review, and by the next day we were done. He also offered a very reasonable price, didn't try to take advantage of me like other lawyers did. I am so thankful for your quick help and friendly approach. I'd recommend you all to go to Mr. Yuri. read more

I randomly called Yuli at 6 PM on a Friday because I urgently needed a verification of my startup company for a digital certificate, and all other lawyers in the area were either closed for the week or did not provide this type of service. Yuli not only did exactly what I needed, he did it immediately and all via the email, so I didn't even have to go to his office. The price was also very reasonable. Another thing I really like about Yuli is that he is not like the stereotypical lawyer: self-serving and greedy. Every time I'd dealt with lawyers before, I felt like I was being taken advantage of; that everything they did or said was just so that they could charge me more. They can also be difficult to communicate with, because they speak their own specific language and don't understand much else. Yuli is not like that. He comes across as very simple and honest. In addition to his legal background, he also has a degree in math and physics, and he used to work as an engineer. To an engineer like myself, that makes a striking difference. Talking to him felt like talking to a fellow engineer who understands exactly what I'm talking about and who is there to help solve my problem, as opposed to someone whom I have to explain things 5 times, then in the end they just prey on my legal naiveté to slap me a fat bill. I've only worked with Yuli this one time, but based on this experience I would really recommend him, especially to engineers and other technical people. read more

Yuli has been very helpful to us in dealing with a summon we got from a consultant who made us sign non lawful agreement. He is very informative, easy to deal with and explained the rights of Immigrant foreign workers to us in simple terms. We feel confident going to the court knowing our rights. read more

Yuli is thorough and knows his law, as far as employment laws and immigration laws go; I can say from first hand experience and his stellar legal consultation for me during my recent unfortunate legal nightmare with a job consulting firm for a job contractual lawsuit. I had tried getting in touch with some lawyers who advertise working in this area of expertise, but could not get in touch with a single one of them and the date of my hearing was arriving fast. It does seem that most of the lawyers in this area do seem to either cater to the blue collar workforce or I am not as big a client for them to care. Anyway, I got in touch with Yuli through and acquaintance and straight away he gave me the legal arsenal needed to navigate through a quagmire of papers and laws. He was able to tell me exactly what I needed to present for my situation and not get sidetracked into unnecessary complications. He was thorough, professional and responsive, and he kept it simple. I would totally recommend him for anyone who might need help in matters that he advertises his services in. read more

Yuli is a fantastic lawyer. We worked with Yuli on our marriage based adjustment of status from TN to permanent resident. He was highly knowledgeable, made us feel comfortable, and made going through the legal system as straight forward as it could be. Reaching out to him was very easy and convenient, and Yuli accommodated us with appointments outside of typical working hours. I hope I never need a lawyer again, but if I do I'll call Yuli first! read more

I talked to Yuli few times asking questions about the options I have about my relationship with my wife who lives in another state. I called Yuli to hopefully set up a consultation but instead he answered all my questions over the phone. There was a couple of things he wasn't sure of but ended up calling back a few hours later after he found out for certain the correct details. He was knowledgeable, listened attentively, and most importantly he was courteous. I definitely recommend his service and will contact again if I need further advice. read more

Noticed immediately I'm not the only one complaining about how bad you are at responding to clients! I've been attempting to get this lawyer to send one email response to one of my clients regarding a non-payment and he has refused to follow through with his promises. Since end of january( 2.5 months) this email response has not gone out and now he is not responding to me at all. This is a pattern among his clients and now I am putting him on notice again since he is not doing what he said he would do which is respond to the opposing attorney and I've sent over 40 text messages and called his phone at least 30 times in last couple weeks with no progress or follow through! Hired law firm with help of Jeff who lost his law license due to unethical law practices. Both lawyers failed to meet one deadline or even respond to many many messages after receiving payment. Next step is to file complaint with California state bar association. I know I am not the first client to have this problem with Jeff and Yuli as A former client had many complaints in California against Jeff. This has been the most unresponsive law firm I have ever dealt with. Save your money and hire another law firm. Feel free to contact me if you have had similar issues and we can jointly file complaints with the bar association. I will not stop until I get a refund or the expected result of my case. Yuli was great and answered to my immigration questions in minutes with clarity and suggestions. I was looking for the lawyers but wasn't getting a response from them. He replied to me even though I didn't provide enough details in my initial query. His advice on my current case and next steps gave me peace of mind and I am not tensed about my situation. He is very quick, helpful and ofcourse is a very experienced lawyer. I had questions related to h1B transfer in tricky and complex situations. Thanks again and I would highly recommend him. read more

This is a man of integrity. We reached out to him because we were planning to create a simple prenuptial agreement and his pricing was very reasonable. After asking us for details on what we were trying to achieve, he explained the relevant law for us and we learned that we didn't actually need a prenup after all. He lost our business, but won our recommendation and will be our first choice if we need legal help in the future. He also responds extremely fast, even late at night, and takes the time to carefully and adequately answer all questions, even when the answer goes against his personal interest. read more

I had an initial consultation with Yuli regarding a complicated child custody/visitation/child support case in which I live in Utah but the mother of our son lives in the SF Bay Area. Yuli was concise, intelligent, kind, pragmatic, and generous with his time (a breath of fresh air considering industry cultural norms that prevent many attorneys from doing so). I would recommend him to anyone looking for a competent and knowledgeable attorney, and I feel good knowing that I have someone I can trust should I require retaining his services in the future. read more

Yuli is intelligent, kind, and very generous of his time. He is such a breadth of fresh air in this legal industry. I always sought him out for any legal advice I need in absolutely any matter. I called for a quote to file a legal form. Yuli's quote was very reasonable, but what's more, he told me that I could do it myself even without a lawyer because it isn't very complicated to do.
