I am very happy with that recommendation and it has been a GREAT JOURNEY with Dr MATARAZZO, his assistant who have helped me with a new set of teeth!! I had 12 teeth removed and implants inserted the same day and experienced only mild discomfort that was alleviated with cooling packs and Tylenol! He would not revisit this tooth because "it's dead" and said it was the tooth in front cause the pain, which was not accurate. A second opinion confirmed it was the root canal tooth. There was root still remaining, an ill fitting crown causing poor bite, and too large post caused terrible pain. An endo and new dentist took months to be able to save my tooth from extraction and manage my pain. I normally don't share feedback but felt I needed to be honest here as the work performed was not quality, rushed and often felt my concerns were not taken seriously. On top of that, having to pay again OOP for a $1000+ procedure months later.

Dr Saoud failed to diagnose the cause of significant jaw pain I was having and dismissed my concern entirely. After seeing another dentist I was diagnosed with a severe wisdom tooth issue requiring oral surgery. They also attempt to "sell" services during your exam typically included in an exam by every other dentist I've seen. Once I questioned the receptionist about a billing issue and told her I had to go through this after every visit. She then told me I should consider going somewhere else. I went to this office because they accepted my insurance but you get what you pay for. They make up the difference by selling treatments and services that aren't necessary. There are many other qualified dentists in the area. Do yourself a favor and find one.

Overall, the service started well but has gradually been trending towards average when compared to my previous dentist that I had been seeing for 10+ years. Dr. Sami is very knowledgeable and friendly and you can ask him any questions if you need more clarity. However, the office staff performance has been lacking lately. For example, when I had to reschedule my most recent cleaning, I was told that the dental hygenist who does my cleaning would be available and when I showed up, I was told she was not in the office as it was her day off. The person rescheduling my appointment dropped the ball. Finally, my most recent experience with my daughter's visit was definitely an unpleasant experience as it was an "optional" procedure and when I asked if would be "hundreds of dollars" I was told "no" by the billing manager. Unfortunately for me, when it came time to pay the bill, it was nearly $500. When I asked the billing manager why the discrepancy, she said it was because the quoted price was "per tooth". Shame on me for not asking a detailed follow-up question before scheduling the appointment but also shame on the billing manager for not clarifying her answer as she knew from my original question that I was not looking for a bill in the "hundreds of dollars". I've learned my lesson but will be very wary of any price quotes for optional services going forward.
