I reached out to @bookwithmel 2 weeks before our trip after seeing a few of my female friends/mutuals book with her (really cool to see that girls are consistently posting their positive experiences with bookwithmel! We love a female promoter + team). I've been to Vegas a few times and have tried different promoters each time (had good experiences with 4 male promoters who just got our group on guestlist + 1 negative experience with a male promoter who hooked it up well but was weird vibes). My group was more inclined to book with a female promoter this time around and it was def the right choice!! The team was extremely timely and communicative from start to end. They helped us get on the guestlist + secure comp tables, sent updates, and ensured that we were having a good time Day 1: (Illenium at zouk) Mel's team hooked it up and got us a comp table from 10:30 pm - 12:30 am. Check-in was easy, we came on time and someone came to bring us in. - our group had only one issue throughout the whole experience: we wish that the team would have gave us a heads up that we would be sharing the comp table with another group. There was another group of girls who kinda ruined the vibes for us. They cut us in the table line, ignored us, and took our host... just to end up at the same table and act fake nice to us LOL. We were stuck with them for like 2 hours at the table until we decided to just get on the dance floor. (Mel's team immediately coordinated with each other, updated us, and had the host come back to guide us when we let them know the other group had taken our host). Issue was solved quickly which we appreciated!! Free alc was available at the table (they highly recommend tipping the hostess refilling at the end) Day 2: comp table for the entire night for Chainsmokers at EBC. We got a table to ourselves this day and it came with 3 pitchers of mixed alc: orange/pineapple juice + tequila/vodka (I don't remember lol). Super fun and seamless day! Vegas is one of my favorite places in the world and Mel & team really made our experience EXTRA special. This past March, my friend and I planned a joint birthday celebration and invited all of our friends along. I first heard about Mel through TikTok showing how she would treat her guests when they booked, and I was impressed. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM She is not a real promoter and does not work for any of the casinos or clubs. She takes money for comped tables and her brother puts your name on the list. She says you're paying a discounted rate but comped tables are ALWAYS free and promoters give them our regularly. She's taking money under the table for a service that costs nothing. When a table is comped it is free to the party until someone actually pays the club for a table meaning you can be bumped and meaning you paid money for zero guarantee of how long the table belongs to you. When my group confronted Mel about the scam she lied and told us her fiancé was shot in the head 20 times (while we were asking what was going on and why our names were not on the list) and then proceeded to block us. Upon a further investigation a friend not in our group found a photo of her on her instagram posing with who she claimed was her brother and who I recognized as the person who let us into the club after much difficulty with the security staff at the vip entrance who had no idea who she was. Our suspicions were first peaked when we got to the club and she directed us to not mention her name or that we paid. So she is fully aware of the scam she is running.
