Through it, I've come to know some of the NDCC professionals quite well. And to know them is to love them. It became quite clear early on that NDCC REALLY CARES about the women they serve. And not just about their career opportunity - but their whole beings. I've mentored women in the E3 program who received specialized and specific care - as they really needed it as they were dealing with not only work challenges - but also trauma (as many of our women do). NDCC provides a safe, caring environment that makes these women feel loved and supported. A true gift. Their location is great - right down town. But not too centrally located as you can always find a meter to park. Their office-like environment with meeting rooms is perfect for whatever type of function in being held. I've been there a couple times for mentor-mentee match days, as well as networking and program presentation. I know NDCC is fabulous as helping women with resumes, interviewing prep and job placement. They also have clinical staff for mental health support. I'm sure there are additional resources - but these are the few that I know of personally. I highly recommend NDCC as a resource for women who need help with job skills, placement and other career related needs!

Highly recommend for career changers!…read more I struggle to find the right path in my career. Is this right? It's a job, so it must be. But can you truly enjoy working in X field as an X every single day. I didn't think this was possible. I started with Eden Sulzer, unhappy with the work I was in which was exacerbated by COVID. Fast forward to this week I have a job offer and am a final candidate for 2 other companies. Through the work I was able to identify and align positions that enhance my natural skillsets and meet my needs as to where I want to be at this time in my career. It's been a roller coaster but I do not believe I would be in this position had it not be for the career counseling work, resume revamp, elevator pit coaching and interview techniques I received from Crosworks. I was able to work my network for job leads, better navigate LinkedIn, and laser focus my resume to the right HR folks and I have seen SUCH great results. Re COVID - All our work was done via phone or Zoom which was super convenient, office visits were offered on specific dates (mentioned specific protocols in place)

I worked with Shelly Stotzer over the course of several weeks, and it was a truly enlightening experience. I was able to really hone in on my areas of strength, and find out what is absolutely vital to create a satisfying career for me. I was able to adapt my resume to really focus on what I'm good at and what I'm interested in. This knowledge also prepared me to ask the right questions at interviews so I could really feel confident that I was making a good career choice. The result was a change in job with a 30% pay increase and nearly complete job happiness. I am so glad I worked with Crosworks. I would not have had the tools to make better career decisions without their expertise and encouragement.

All things that ran through my head before I contacted Scott. I cannot tell you how eternally grateful I am that I got in touch with him. I reached out to Scott after making some bad decisions that really put some strain on my marriage. I contacted Scott for a few 1 on 1 sessions to lay out where I was at, what I was struggling with, and my desire to eventually come in with my wife for some couples counseling. I was never a big believer in counseling before this, as I had been to a few in my life for more minor issues without feeling any benefit. Prior counselors seemed to have an approach on rails, with the mentality that there was only one given approach to any issue. Scott thinks outside this box, which is massively helpful. Scott was compassionate and listened, making me feel heard while being very objective and being sure we established my desires and what I wanted before pursuing a path to get there. I brought my wife into the fold and the transition seemed rather seamless. My wife would say she felt the same as I did about counseling before meeting with Scott and after the first session she said she felt we were in good hands. Scott does a great job at listening and interjecting only when needed. In terms of couples counseling, he makes a strong effort to make couples communicate with eachother, and not just speak their piece to him as a sort of mediator, which I think is immensely helpful. He's so down to earth, it makes it seem as if you're talking to a friend rather than a trained professional. I think my marriage is far better off for our time with Scott and we plan on continuing going to him for the foreseeable future even though we are on a great path, as he's able to pick out and see potential problem areas to be addressed when we can't see them. I promise you, if you're on the fence and unsure if you should reach out, you should. Scott is the man for the job and I guarantee you'll agree with me.

It would have been helpful if they had been clear about when I could expect the documents in the first place. I was told they hoped to get them to me by the next week. I was put off that they were in process after every inquiry after that. The cover letter is an online template. I sent an email the next day (8/29) inquiring of the status and received no response. So, I called and was told she had "been up all night" writing my resume and promised I would receive my resume that evening and "I would not be disappointed". That evening came and went and no resume. I sent an email the next morning (8/30) with again, no response. I understand things come up and delays happen; however, all the communication was one sided. I finally received a separate email on 8/30 with my resume and a fill in the blank cover letter, which was supposed to be customized. It was free, so I am not really concerned with that, but also speaks to what seems to be a habit of overpromising and under delivering. I was told I needed a brand new resume which was to include "professional formatting, editing, content creation, and design". I received a resume that was nearly identical to the resume I sent. Formatting, wording, bullet points...all nearly identical to what I had written myself. Bullet points were placed under the wrong job, the last few years of work experience were left off entirely, and the resume wasn't tailored at all the the job description I had sent. It was in no way, shape or form an executive level resume. I sent an email 8/31 expressing my concerns and disappointment and requested a refund. Only then did I get a response. There was no apology, only that they appreciated my patience and justification that I still received my resume "several days ahead of their normal turnaround time". Regardless of how long it normally takes to complete a resume, the point is, I was promised a completed resume by a specific date and it wasn't delivered by the time it was promised. The timing isn't my main concern. I would have overlooked that had the resume been the quality they had promised. There was an offer to have a conversation and to remind me they offer unlimited revisions. I didn't think a conversation would help this situation so I declined; however, I told her to feel free to revise the resume. Again, no response. Here we are a week later, (9/8) with no response, no resume and no refund. I disputed the transaction with my bank. BUYER BEWARE.
