This was not a timely service. I paid for an updated resume and cover letter. I paid on March 3 and…read moredid not receive my documents until March 21. It would have been helpful if they had been clear about when I could expect the documents in the first place. I was told they hoped to get them to me by the next week. I was put off that they were in process after every inquiry after that. The cover letter is an online template. A partial refund was agreed upon, but has not been received and I have not had response to my emails and outreach.

I paid for a complete resume rewrite and chose the expedited option, which was promised to me by a…read morecertain date (8/28). That date came and went with no communication at all. I sent an email the next day (8/29) inquiring of the status and received no response. So, I called and was told she had "been up all night" writing my resume and promised I would receive my resume that evening and "I would not be disappointed". That evening came and went and no resume. I sent an email the next morning (8/30) with again, no response. I understand things come up and delays happen; however, all the communication was one sided. I finally received a separate email on 8/30 with my resume and a fill in the blank cover letter, which was supposed to be customized. It was free, so I am not really concerned with that, but also speaks to what seems to be a habit of overpromising and under delivering. I was told I needed a brand new resume which was to include "professional formatting, editing, content creation, and design". I received a resume that was nearly identical to the resume I sent. Formatting, wording, bullet points...all nearly identical to what I had written myself. Bullet points were placed under the wrong job, the last few years of work experience were left off entirely, and the resume wasn't tailored at all the the job description I had sent. It was in no way, shape or form an executive level resume. I sent an email 8/31 expressing my concerns and disappointment and requested a refund. Only then did I get a response. There was no apology, only that they appreciated my patience and justification that I still received my resume "several days ahead of their normal turnaround time". Regardless of how long it normally takes to complete a resume, the point is, I was promised a completed resume by a specific date and it wasn't delivered by the time it was promised. The timing isn't my main concern. I would have overlooked that had the resume been the quality they had promised. There was an offer to have a conversation and to remind me they offer unlimited revisions. I didn't think a conversation would help this situation so I declined; however, I told her to feel free to revise the resume. Again, no response. Here we are a week later, (9/8) with no response, no resume and no refund. I disputed the transaction with my bank. BUYER BEWARE.
