History

Established in 2020.

I “hung out my own shingle” in 2020 after nearly two decades working in tax and accounting. Taxes run in the family—my wife is a CPA, and my mom was also an accountant—so you could say I grew up around W-2s, 1099s, and spreadsheets. I started the firm to give clients a more personal, planning-oriented experience: not just getting a return filed, but helping people understand why their tax bill looks the way it does and what they can do about it going forward. Over time, that naturally led into broader tax planning and, most recently, adding investment advisory capabilities through my registration with Sovereign so I can help clients connect the dots between taxes and long-term financial decisions.

It’s really simple: I love helping people with their taxes and financial lives. Most people dread dealing with the IRS or thinking about how taxes affect their investments. I take that off your plate—whether it’s preparing your return, responding to a notice, or walking you through a tax-planning strategy—in plain English and with as little pain as possible. I’m an Enrolled Agent (EA), licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS, and I also serve as an Investment Adviser Representative with Sovereign, a registered investment advisory firm. That combination lets me look at your situation from both angles: how to keep you compliant today and how to make smarter, tax-aware decisions for the future. At the end of the day, my job is to help you feel informed, prepared, and confident—not overwhelmed—when it comes to taxes and money.
