Absolutely appalled by the behaviour of Rick. I booked for a wasp nest removal and on the day I had a call to say he was 15 mins away. I then get a call to say he can't find me and gives a landmark he can see, since I'm new to the area I said i'm going to check on Google maps, at which point Rick says If I don't know where I live he can't help me and couldn't remove the wasp nest. Since I'd lost a days pay to wait in for Youngs pest control to turn up I posted a review elsewhere saying this. I then had a very abusive call from Rick swearing and telling me "You must have something wrong with your head". I wouldn't advise anyone to use a company that feels the need to call and swear or show any signs of aggression after a poor review. Clearly they don't understand the basics of good customer service. read more

Awful experience - don't be fooled by the mild manner of the owner or the prices. Having booked a visit for wasp removal and then a no-show by the company, I called and spoke to the owner who informed me they didn't cover my area (why book me in then?!). Thus followed by a rude conversation where he stated it was "on the website, so pretty easy to read". Stay well clear and spend a little extra for better service. In this case you certainly get what you pay for. read more

Eek, mice at 2am!! Young's turned up within an hour and amazing used a dog to locate the mouse and where it was coming in to the kitchen. Excellent, quick service and apparently guaranteed if the mouse comes back. Thanks Youngs!! read more

I was quoted on average £175 plus vat with other sources. Steven arrived within 3 hours and the cost was a flat £59. Aside from that, he was incredibly helpful, professional, genuine and efficient. He dealt with a very problematic wasps nest outside and the issue inside which had become distressing. The assurance that he would return if need be and even trusting me to pay after he had left via bank transfer means that this true gentleman is being added to my contacts, just in case. Please, don't go to any other, large companies will not give the service that Stephen provides. Highly recommended. Thank you

I called Young's Pest Control worried about a wasps nest in the garage above my main gate. The team arrived the next day, sprayed the area, clearly explained the process and what I would see within the next 24 hours, tidied the area, and left. Within a few hours the wasps were gone! Not even one dead one on the path! Strangely I've barely seen a wasp in the garden at all since their visit. Good job, well done, well worth the price. Would use again and would recommend to all in their area. read more

Signed up for Young pest control, mainly because of ongoing and greatly worsening ant problem. Service providers have been very professional and thorough, always arriving when promised, and calling when they were on their way. Last week, when we returned from short out of town trip, we were again under attack by the ants. I called the office and they had a provider out to our house that afternoon, with no charge. read more

Had an urgent problem with rats in an internal wall. First visit was on a Sunday morning where a very thorough inspection and assessment was made and poison laid. Took another two visits to deal with the problem including the fitting of a rat guard one way valve. Fingers crossed I don't have to call them out again but would use them again and happy to recommend this company read more
