We have used Young's for at least five years and have never had an issue. Ever. I never felt compelled to write a review, but after the service we received last Wednesday, I knew I couldn't let their awesomeness go unrecognized. October 9th was the day Hurricane Milton was due to arrive in our area of Florida. We didn't put our trash can out that morning because it was already so windy and rainy and we didn't think there would be a luck-up. Later in the day, when it was even more rainy and windy, I heard what I thought was their truck. I got the can to the curb after they passed, but they beeped and waved, which led me to believe they'd be back. Minutes later, in the pouring rain, they made a U-turn, emptied our trash, and even walked the trash can up our driveway and back to the house. I was so shocked and so thankful. Young's went above and beyond in the midst of a storm just to provide amazing customer service and care. read more

Three years ago, I left them a really good review, I was happy with their work, the price and the quality. Now...If I could leave no stars, I would. The trucks started leaving "garbage juice" in my road when they backed up, which I had to then go out and clean off with the hose, to stop the flies and horrible smell. When I called to cancel the service, the lady said she understood, and said that was a problem they had. So I canceled the service. That was in the middle of August, it's the end of November, and I've yet to receive a refund for almost the whole three months due to me. I've called, I've written, I've e-mailed. They missed the last month of pick ups then we complained and they finally came to pick up one can we pay for 3 and they were dumping 3 until this last month then we complained and they said you are only paying for a certain amount to be dumped and there is a fuel surcharge on there which wasn't before. Update 7/17/22 - Young's had the gall to send us an invoice with the past quarter overdue, and the current quarter due !! We have been taking our own garbage to the dump, and have had no dealings with Young's since April. When we received an invoice in April, we sent it back to Young's with "cancel service" written plainly on it, and they haven't stopped here since then. They didn't even pick up the garbage when they were paid to do so. We have left them still another message! Sooner or later they will learn that people will not send money for nothing anymore. They will have to start providing services to someone, to be paid. read more

We've experienced them dumping our bag of garbage on the ditch across our street. Animals tore it up and we had to clean it up. We're supposed to get service weekly, and they've skipped us several times, leaving us with two weeks of garbage at the street and animals tearing up the bags, so that we had to clean it up. 99%of the time Young's have been reliable. I understand there are sometimes complications, but wish they would put a holiday schedule on their website....customary scheduling with holidays is that they will pick up one day later, if a holiday falls on a Monday through Friday before our regular pick up day. This week Memorial Day was on a Saturday, so, no regular pick ups on the weekends. The post office did deliver our mail on Sat. and on Mon., so with that I assumed Young's will follow suit and pick up on Tuesday, like regular. They didn't and I can't get through on the phone to speak with anyone. They also have changed their phone number, so I've been calling the wrong number and leaving messages to nobody. I don't have service with Young's garbage service. Yesterday on the private road I live off of I was cleaning up the other side of my landlord private road. I would tree limbs that seem like a whole tree, I also cleaned out leaves that had been on this side since I lived here for 8 yrs. So that's 8 yrs of leaves. This is a easement to my property. I took a garbage can of plants that I had been growing for yrs. I had put 15 gallons of water in a 30 gallon can I had put the can away from the road so it wouldn't get hit . On 10/06/2022 Young's garbage was picking garbage up I seen them coming down the street but didn't think nothing about it. Now I don't have service with them and for the life on me I don't understand why they would even touch my cam that was on the other side of my road where there is no home just a easement. Young's men stopped and took my garbage can and dumped my plants into the truck. Now there was $1,500 worth of plants in that can with 15 gallons of water. Shouldn't they known if plants were soaking In water that they wouldn't be throwaways? I called Young's and told them what had just happened and she called the truck they had just dumped their truck at the landfill and now the owner hasn't called me. I am asking for restitution on my plan but I haven't heard nothing from the owner. What would you do? read more

It is true they rarely get back to an email question. It is true that a phone message return call takes a while. It i true that their supplemental pickups are costly. Even so, given all that, I have experienced excellent regular weekly pickup. I initially chose them because they are the ONLY company that will (additional fee) pick up at the customer's black door.
