This is what $10,000+ gets you from YOUNG LANDSCAPES, HUBBARDSTON, MA. Installed October 2016. Which they did not meet their "on and around" date of September 12th 2016 to install stated in contract. After trying to reach him multiple times to get him to tell us when he was coming to install the walkway and granite front steps, someone from their office called and spoke with Mark and stated "they can't get to it this year(2016), do you want to wait until next year or do you want your deposit back?" Which we replied "we will take our money back." This statement implied either they didn't want to do the job or doesn't have time to do the work he promised in his contract. I looked for another place to do the replacement of steps and walkway due to the response from his office personnel. The steps and walkway was falling apart. This should have been a red flag for us. Kevin Young called stating we had a contract which protected him. How does "do you want your money back (our deposit) imply that he wanted to fulfill the said contract. After talking further with Kevin, we agreed to have the work done since we did sign a contract. Upon inspecting the front granite steps the afternoon they were installed I noticed chips in granite that abuts to the house. I texted immediately with pictures to Kevin which his response was no problem chips happen in shipping and he would glue down pieces. To this day the chips have not been fixed. The grass he planted due to replacing walkway has not fully come back in. He also promised he would put more polymeric sand down due to possible erosion over the winter/spring season. Kevin Young won't answer phone calls or text message from Mark or myself. To this date June 23, 2017 he has not come back. Do not pay him in full until he has finished the job!!! He will not come back and follow through with what he has promised. I have complained to the Better Business Bureau. I should not have to pay someone else to fix this after paying him $10,000+. Kevin Young, all you have to do is come back and fix what you promised after taking our money!!! Shame on you!!!
