Came to this group with Matt who was from VMH. Never in over 20 years did I have a problem. This year, taxes mailed 3/5. Unknown to me extension filed. Finally ready in August after frequent back and forth. End of August an accountant friend recognized an $8000 ish error. They filed income in Alabama instead of Mississippi. We were not Alabama residents when that money was removed. The woman at DESK tried to tell us no error was trying to keep us from talking to accountant. They finally admitted mistake and said they would amend. Checked later on amendment and told would have to wait till after Oct deadline for late taxes ( which included ours). About a month ago got letter from Alabama gov that I owed tax $$ with penalties and fees. And an underpayment, which they calculated wrong. Sent letter back to AL gov saying they were being amended. Thought there might be back log. Just got registered letter. $$$ DUE. Spoke with my financial advisor who said about 15 of his clients facing similar issues and for me to give up on them doing amendment and have my new accountant do it this year. Now I'm paying to correct their mistake. I tried to email the poor accountant who started our process. Couldn't find her email address. She probably quit. I am not a complainer but this sucked big time. Zero rating for me too. read more

similar experience to reviews already posted. Sent our tax information in February we called numerous times to see when the return would be finished only to be put off. We were told Florida had been given an extension, so not to worry. initially, they told us we would be getting a refund then that we needed to file an extension and finally that we actually owed money. totally confused! will not return EVER! Totally incompetent! Wished I could give them a zero! read more

YHH financial came highly recommended as a local business. Unfortunately, the company had been sold around the. same time we came there. on our first meeting the accountant was professional and knowledgeable. when we came to bring additional documents we were told she was on vacation but in reality she quit and our amended returns were not given to anyone else. After weeks of calling CJ the office manager our taxes were handed off to three additional employees two of them who also quit after a week of two. When our amended returns was finally completed it was done inaccurately leaving us owing thousands of dollars. I contacted the owner of the company right away and he continued to state he would make it right and he and company did not do so. I would be happy to share the numerous text messages that he stated he would make it right. He did no such thing. If you want to waste time and money than feel free to use this incompetent company. I have chosen to contact the IRS and the better business bureau on this company and hope that you stay away from the same issues that we dealt with... Go anywhere else. read more

Do NOT use YHH Finanical. We submitted our tax information in February and after 4 months of lies, not answering emails or phone calls, we picked up our information and found another reputable and trustworthy accounting firm. Would have definitely rated them a 0 but that was not an option. A rating of 1 is way too high for them. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

Terrible Company! Turned in taxes on 3/21, still haven't gotten them back or told what I owe. They have no estimate when they will be done! This company should not be allowed to exist! Shame on me for assuming, YHH got sold to a reputable company. I am surprised YHH allowed their names to be used with new company! read more

No need for an extension but allegedly that's what I got. No one answers to a phone call

If I could give a 0 I would. I told YHH when I dropped off my paperwork the first part of March that I don't do extensions, so please make sure they have my returns ready by the deadline. I was guaranteed by the new owner that my taxes would be done ahead of the extended deadline of May 1, 2025. I just called the office and was told "unfortunately" they won't be done after all. Tomorrow is the deadline and now I have to find someone else to do my taxes. read more
