They vary in price range but if you call them, they are very helpful I once had to change a reservation and they were very helpful and nice. The houses at Yosemite West are actually the closest to Badger Pass. It takes about a 20 minute drive from the houses to the ski resort since they are just outside the park border. The main office is in Bass Lake. Their website has a lot of links to their houses, cabins, and condos for rent. As I write this…read morereview, it is August 2020 and Covid is rampant in the United States, so access to Yosemite park was limited. We found Pat and his services and he saved our trip! The experience was great. Pat is knowledgeable about the park and an expert with Photography. He knows exactly the route to take his guests to maximize our time in the park and capture them with ours or his camera. The day we were scheduled with Pat, he had a guide that he was training. They were both very receptive about the feedback about photo composition, lighting etc. At first there was a little sticker shock of $850/day for a family of four. however, if you compare this rate with other companies operating semi private tours, Pat's rate is a bargain! A half a day in a semi private tour will cost you about $700. Pat met us in Oakhurst at 8 AM and our tour ended at 3 PM. It was the highlight of our week. Thank you.

We had requested the return of the reservation deposit to help with what was thrown our way, however....said money has not been returned. Be very careful when booking, they are quick to cash the check, but they don't seem to have the human compassion which would be most appreciated right now. Establishments such as this one give most a bad name and leave a bad taste for the public. It's too bad, but somethings are out of our control. Lesson learned, unless you have money to throw away, do not book!!!

We spent two days at The Oak Pond Retreat and immediately wanted to come back for longer! The second time around, we decided to stay 5 days at The Emerald Escape! The homes are beautiful, spacious, and stocked FULL of amenities. Although both homes were located in quiet neighborhoods and felt secluded, they were very close to grocery stores, restaurants, thrift/antique stores (the best i've been to), and national parks/trails! Every room felt neat and clean. The bathrooms, carpets, and the jacuzzi at our second stay felt well-maintained and hygienic. The wi-fi was great and the TVs were super easy to navigate. There was also never a worry of running out of towels or clothes because of the washer and dryer! Great homes ran by even better people. Gailyn and Adam have the best team. They're very warm, welcoming, and inviting. They're consistent in letting you know they're there if you need help and/or have any questions. They're reliable and quick to respond. I cant wait to go back!

They are very personable and genuine, something rare in today's world. They really do care about the guest experience and homeowners, which has been truly refreshing. I can't recommend them enough. If I get the chance to buy another vacation rental in the area I'll be ecstatic if they decide to manage it for me.

We were a late check-in and someone called us before we arrived, to give us information on getting into the cabin, parking and general instructions. Friday night was pretty quiet. Saturday night we could hear some good music playing from the restaurant patio. It was loud enough to hear from inside our room, but by no means bothersome. We enjoyed the vibe. By about 9:30ish, we noticed the music had stopped and it was back to silence. Our trip was cut short for personal reasons, but we'll definitely stay here any chance we get.

The beds are very comfortable and the cabins come equipped with some amenities, plenty of towels and blankets and very high quality linens which is unexpected in a cozy cabin. Each cabin has a theme, we were in the Bear Cabin which is cabin 19, and our friends were in the Eagle cabin. All the cabins have lovely lake views and front porches - perfect for watching the time pass while enjoying the incredible view. Ours is not right on the lake but up the hill so you can still see the view from your windows and front porch. Very quiet, serene and peaceful. There is a general store and restaurant on-sight - making it a very convenient place to stay in a pretty quiet area. We ate at the restaurant and thought it was quite good (wrote a separate review of that). I am only giving the property four stars because there were a couple areas that I think could be improved but it was nothing we felt we had to tell the staff. Again, we were very happy with the place. Overall, the cleanliness of the cabin could be improved. Seems like the porch hadn't been hosed down in ages and was full of dust and cobwebs. The floor also didn't seem like it had been cleaned very well. I'll give some leeway here as the area was quite dusty after a dry summer. There was a giant cobweb insight the bathroom window which was a little unsettling. Also to note, the beach area closest to the resort seems to be very popular for locals on Saturdays so it got crowded. Obviously they can't control that, but wanted to mention here for your plans if you stay. You will need to get space early. Overall, would recommend this cute resort with very cozy cabins for a mountain getaway. We didn't get a chance to explore the area - it was very hot so we spent our time at the lake. We'd like to come back in the fall and do more exploring.

My husband and I got married out there a couple weeks ago and my whole family stayed there and Brenda (host) and Val (cleaning/maintenance) went so above and beyond to accommodate us all, she made sure all of the rooms had everything that everyone needed, whenever we had any questions with planning the weekend beforehand we would call her and she was so incredibly helpful with EVERYTHING. She decorated our room adding some special touches for my husband and I. My wedding weekend/week was absolutely perfect and I truly have Brenda to thank for all of the advice and help she gave us while planning the weekend before we even got out there. Cannot say enough amazing things about her and this beautiful hidden gem!!!
