The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is because the wedding planner realized, at the last minute, that the draping near the door wouldn't work as it was set. I was surprised that Robin didn't realize this before she left. The bride and the wedding planner moved some things around and it worked perfectly. We were very impressed with the work that Maine Event did under very weird circumstances in a very weird space. I would highly recommend them.

I understand how in general the wedding industry won't return deposits because they lost a day where they could have had another wedding, but this was clearly not the case. I would have tried legal action but the deposit amount wasn't worth it (and I'm sure the company knew this too). They took one of the most difficult situations of our lives and made it worse.
