She kept us on-budget and helped us understand what it was worth it to spend on as we searched for venues, caterers, bands, flowers, and more. During the wedding week and weekend, Melanie kept everyone calm and on-task. She made sure all the tents, tables, chairs, etc were delivered on-time and everyone was where they should be. This was the only vendor we worked with that wouldn't refund the money. We even gave them time to refund us and a year later still wouldn't budge. I understand how in general the wedding industry won't return deposits because they lost a day where they could have had another wedding, but this was clearly not the case. I would have tried legal action but the deposit amount wasn't worth it (and I'm sure the company knew this too). They took one of the most difficult situations of our lives and made it worse.
