Hands down the best cab service around the Yonkers/Bronxville areas. Because this is a union, all of these guys drive around in their own cars, and you can tell that they take care of their cars like their own babies. And they are very sweet, truthful human beings as well. On the other hand, I have also used the Bronxville Taxi Servicea few times, and they would always charge me 20% more money than these guys. This company is terrible. Would not use again...ever. I called 2 weeks prior to my trip and scheduled a pick up from my home to JFK. Two days before I was scheduled to leave, no one had called me to confirm my day/time of pick-up so I called to ensure I was all set. The last thing I need is to be sitting outside of my home waiting for a cab that never comes. Well, I called and they had no record of my reservation that was made 2 weeks prior! I again scheduled the pick-up and was very clear on when I needed to be picked up. The day comes and I'm waiting outside for the cab. 10 minutes goes by and I call the company again. The person on the other end was rude, and basically told me the cab was on the way, even though they never asked me for my name, they just gave me random information. The cab arrived 20 minutes after my requested pick-up time and stops in the middle of the road so I can load my own luggage into the trunk that the driver so kindly opened from inside the car. I will not use this company again. There are plenty of cab companies that conduct themselves in a more professional manner and show up on time that will take my money. read more

I called a half hour before I needed to be picked up and told them exactly what time I would be there, and when the time came there was no taxi, and when I tried calling again no one picked up the phone I called for 30mins straight and had to call 50times and every time no one picked up the phone, what the fuck kind of taxi service does not pick up the phone. This is a fucking joke and insulting that I call ahead of time and still end up waiting anther fucking hour and had to find anther cab on street and had to pay more. I suggest not to use these people. Scheduled 2 cabs for drop off and pickup from yonkers to new rochelle for a wedding was supposed to be 22 each way. Lady said thats fine and they will definitely be on time. First cab charged 22 there 2nd cab charged us $34. The driver specifically drove slow and missed exits which were a quicker route and took us a long way out of the way to make extra $$$. We told him the exit coming up which was even on his GPS and driver missed it on purpose the driver claimed to speak no english but definitely did. We paid and even tipped him $5 We were supposed to be picked up from the wedding at 1:30 the two pre scheduled cabs did not show so we called and were told by the nasty dispatcher lady they have no cars and to use another cab company. Uber wanted $75 from new rochelle to yonkers 15-20min drive so we finally got a bluebird cab for $24 but they had no other cabs so 4 friends had to wait another hour for our cab to go back. But thanks to Bluebird for getting us back and will never use yonkers UNION car service again. read more

Very horrible service. Would not recommend. I called the car company for a ride to the train station 45 minutes in advance of the time I requested to be picked up and the car showed up 15 minutes late, resulting in me missing the train that I was scheduled to take. Additionally, the dispatcher who I spoke with told me the ride was based on a meter. When the driver arrived there was no meter in the car and the driver said it would be $28 for the 1.7 mile ride to the train station. I refused to pay that and ended up settling at $10, which was still more than I would have expected to pay if the ride was based on a meter. Trash! It was 19 degrees this morning and I had my 7 year old with me and their driver called to tell me he was here but never showed up. I called him 4 times and the dispatcher didn't answer either. We called another taxi that got us quick. I've been using them every day for a few weeks and always some mess. It's even more insulting when drivers have another person with them in the front seat and their cars have every warning light possible. Not safe and rude will never call again. read more

I tell him to call his dispatcher and he tells me it's 30 and he's giving me a deal for $28!! How is this even possible? I will never use this company again! All these reviews are accurate. The Car Service is unorganized, rude, inconsistent and a rip-off. I called for a ride to the airport and was told that it was cash only. The driver, Antonio, arrived 15 minutes early and starting honking the horn. I had to rush out to let him know and then rush to get ready. The ride to the airport was definitely the longer route (also they pay their tolls with cash, so the cash lane took longer), but the driver seemed pleasant enough. Once I arrived, i gave the driver my money and he said that he did not have enough change. He was blocking three other people (he should have dropped me closer to the curb and not in the middle of the road) and I had no other method of getting exact change, so he stated to call him when I returned and he would deduct the difference from the return trip. His "receipt" was a business card which did not include his name or car number. I had to provide the pen because he did not have one. He did not help me get my bags out of the trunk either. The day of my return trip, I texted the Car Service (as was requested via text message that morning from the Car Service, which also indicated that all forms of payment are accepted) with my flight number and I called Antonio to keep him apprised of my flight plans as well. This was accepted by all. There was a weather issue and my flight had to be diverted. I called both Antonio and the Car Service (no answer for either, I tried calling numerous times) and was only able to text them both letting them know of the delay and the new time of arrival. They responded to my text confirming that they received them. I arrive and text Antonio again letting him know that I arrived. I called, and he stated that it would take him another 10-15 minutes due to traffic. I checked the traffic status, and there was none. I still waited. After another 25 minutes, I called again and he said again that he was in traffic and it would take 10-15 minutes. So I waited, as I did, I called the Car Service. After three tries (they do not have an answering message service) I got through with someone who told me that they had no record of my reservation for a pick-up and that the driver, Antonio, Car #20, was not even working that day. At this point I was confused (and a little scared) and wondered if they had sent another driver to pick me up. They said that based on the phone number, the "boss" had texted me about the pick-up but she was not in the office and i had to contact her about the reservation. They also stated that only cash is accepted since only the boss can handle credit card transactions. I tried calling Antonio to get an ETA, the "boss" to see if my reservation was made, and when there was again no answer from either, I called the Car Service. I must have called 15 times total before getting an answer. They said that there was nothing they could do and that I had to take it up with the driver and the boss. I waited for two hours at the airport. I tried calling Antonio again and again and there was no answer. I finally had to leave via bus as it was late. He never called me to say that he was at the airport and I received no call back from the "boss" even though I left her a message. Two days (I waited because of a holiday) after the incident I called the "boss" and she said that she had 15 VMs and did not check to see mine. She said that she has an organized business and they accept all forms of payment but that she has no control of what her drivers or employees say over the phone. She told me to reach out to Antonio for my money and has done nothing to make this situation right. She even shouted over me on the phone and kept reiterating issues with the weather but most of my issues were with the service that I received, the lies, and the inconsistencies (which are not weather related). Moreover, I had proof that there was no traffic on the routes that Antonio stated that he was stuck in. I tried calling Antonio, and there has been no answer. I am out of money, my time was wasted, and my stress level increased. There is no reason that any reputable business could have so many hiccups and not know when their employees are working and what the protocols are. I would never recommend this service to anyone. They even overcharged compared to what other car services charge. I would rather walk than ever call them again. read more

Terrible taxi service. Called the night before for a taxi at 4:45 am so I could make a 5:11 train ten minutes away. I called at 4:52 and was told the cab was 2 minutes away. Cab showed up at 5:06 and the driver could care less that I missed my train. He wasn't even slightly apologetic. read more

This is the worst most unreliable car service I have ever dealt with. My 82 year old disabled mother needed a car service to go to the doctor. She called them at 1:00pm to get to a 2:00pm appointment. When they didnt show she called 3X and each time was told they were on the way. Well they never showed and she missed her appointment. When I tried to call the supervisor I kept being told she was in a meeting....yeah right....! Terrible!! read more

My family and I were on a road trip and had some car trouble. We pulled into the Burger King parking lot, and realized I needed to get a replacement part. I called Union Car Services and they sent a driver right over. From the time I called to the time the driver arrived it only took 3 minutes. He drove me to the auto parts store, patiently waited in the parking lot to buy the parts I needed, then drove me back to my vehicle. The driver was very courteous, and helpful. I had a excellent experience using Union Car Services, and I would absolutely recommend them or use them in the future. Thank you!! read more
