I recently took 5 items to be altered by Yolanda; previously, I had used her services but my recent experience has not been acceptable. She did not do the alterations that I asked for and what she did do was incorrect. Additionally, I have had to go to her multiple times. Hopefully today will be the last time. Prices are outrageous, customer service is sub par, and the suggestions on how to alter my clothes were ridiculous and not what I was asking for! When I was told the price and did a double take to think about paying that price (which was double what myrna's alterations charged me for a better and more specific tailored job), I was given attitude so I took my business elsewhere (myrna's). I do my best to be flexible with what I ask and what they suggest but they were asking 2x the price for half the tailored fit that myrna's was offering! And with poor customer service (attitude)! Just moved to CC and needed a hem in my MOB dress for Sept. 2nd. Dropped it off a week before I needed it. The ladies got me in and out in a flash, and so friendly. Then Hurricane Harvey came calling. Panicking, I stopped by three days later, scared that Yolanda's would close in preparation for the storm, leaving my dress unhemmed and stranded behind a locked door. They were open. They reassured me, and had the dress done that afternoon. We evacuated hours later, dress in tow. THAT is customer service. They won my loyalty and business for years to come! read more

This place does an okay job on the basics but if you want an "original" hem on your jeans and pants this place is probably not for you. I took a pair of $200 Joe Jeans in to be shorten and when I tried them on in front of the hubby, he said he could tell they had been hemmed. They just looked like they were cut, folded under and sewn together. No attention to thread size or color. You can tell the threads are different. Not overly impressed with the work. Thankfully I can still roll the jeans to wear and be stylish. read more

Not happy with the workmanship of a dress brought in to have it taken in. Owner very opinionated and unwilling to listen to customer about what should be done and as a result the dress was not altered correctly. Cost was $75 and I had to take it to another alterations shop and they did the work as requested for less than Yolandas. Over-priced and not exactly friendly people. read more

They altered my bridesmaids dress and closed early with no warning the day I told them I was needing to pick it up. I even told them what time i would be there. I had to leave the next morning at 6 for the wedding and I had no way of getting a hold of them. I called their work number hundreds of times and got nothing. read more

Had a dress and blue jean skirt that needed to be altered , the blue jean skirt turned out perfect! You can't tell where the seamstress took-in garment! Very pleasantly surprised! I was charged for the blue jean skirt work $25.00 The dress turned out awesome, too! You can't tell where the seamstress took-in garment, I was so happy to finally find a place where you can get top notch alterations! I was charged $35.00 for the dress. Recommended by the local CC HD dealership. had a vest needing patches. upon learning I was leaving TX to go back to Nashville, they worked the weekend to get it ready. If you're considering getting anything altered here reconsider. This woman is rude and down right awful. She ruined my scrub tops and then refused to speak to me about the matter like a civilized person. I tried to call her on the phone which she would pick up and hang up repeatedly for the entirety of the day and when I went in her store In person she forced me to try on the now toddler sized scrub tops that she over charged me for and then proceeded to scream and cuss at me and refused to refund me...she charged me $60 dollars for 2 tops and the girls I work with she only charged $30. I told her my husband was military I am a vet tech and we are strapped and I don't have the money to pay for the ruined scrubs and new scrubs and she said "fuck you get out of my store" she is a down right volatile bitter fat old woman who is racist and hates military families. I am hoping the bank is able to dispute the over charges and that this review causes her to lose some business. Just go anywhere else in town because this old fat lady needs retire she is obviously in no mental state to run a business any more. You shouldn't tell customers you have experience fixing military uniforms if you don't. I get that we have a base but they don't do well with army uniforms. I took my uniform here to get a few things done on my asu top, the day I went to go pick it up I immediately noticed how crooked the Golden braid was sewed on the sleeve. It was so noticeable I though they were pulling a prank on me. When I pointed it out the lady got upset and said she would fix it, I went back to pick it up still crooked and claimed she wouldn't do it again. I didn't get a refund for the poor job and ended up taking it to someone else to go fix it. I even explained that I could provide the regs and pictures of needed. Smh I wouldn't recommend for military personnel to take their uniform here unless they have practice on them. $100 total for all the work and I couldn't have just taken it to the 2nd last lesson learned read more
