Avoid at ALL cost. I am also concerned as to how this business has 5 stars. She is unprofessional and should have her business license revoked. Aside from harassment, she price gouges clients And DOES NOT answer her phone. She also makes you put your stuff inside a bag outside her front door and rip a piece of paper off a notebook and tuck it inside. Very odd, not secure, and did not like folding my freshly presssed and dry cleaned uniforms in a grocery bag. She also expects you to pin everything where you want it which I have never had a tailor request. I am accustom to talking to the tailor in person for alterations And them doing the work. Nonetheless, I had asked if she could sew on some insignias on a 4 military blouses by end of week and she agreed. The NEX was busy and only charges $1 to strip old patches and $3.50 to sew on new ($18 total). I assumed it would be similar (my mistake). I was shocked to get a bill for $95! She charged me $15/blouse+$35 expedited fee she never disclosed. I tried calling to her to resolve this civilly and she refused to answer. I was shocked by this and refused to pay and she said she was going to hold my clothes hostage until I payed. I eventually paid what she was demanding (a reduced rate of $65--still ridiculous) just to get my stuff back. I discontinued contact with her and She continued to harass me well into the evening after 9pm. I meant no illwill towards this woman. I was simply shocked by an astronomical and arbitrary price she charged me. That is my mistake for trusting she would charge a reasonable amount. My daughter and I were struggling to find someone to alter her prom dress, with only 1.5 weeks until the event. Another seamstress backed out of the job last minute because the lace on the dress intimidated her. Luckily, Rebecca was able to squeeze us in and expedite our order so that we had the dress before the day of prom. When facing the issue of the dress also being a tad too snug, she had the wonderful suggestion of adding a lace up corset, which totally elevated the look of the dress. She did an amazing job! I had a horrible experience with Rebecca and her lack of skill/and experience on hemming my daughters prom dress. I'm only sharing now because I just found out my neighbor had a similar experience with Rebecca Cason. We both selected Sew Padre Alterations because of the reviews and because she was conveniently located on the island.
