Excellent fitness facility. Lots of classes to choose from, wide variety of equipment, 2 large…read morepools, locker room hot tubs & saunas. Clean. I've traveled the country & have not found another YMCA that even comes close to this one. My sons says, "...I could live here..." lol.

Seeing as how the other reviews are a bit old...I had to write my own…read more First, the women-only workout room is no more. It's now a spinning studio. Second, I believe the cost now for a day pass is $10. Like any gym, there are crowded times and less-crowded times, but I've literally never NOT been able to get a machine. Maybe not the type of machine I wanted, but there is always something available in the cardio section. There is a solid set of group classes to take advantage of, all come "free" with membership. The online page tells you the rating for classes too, so you can avoid those "advanced" classes if you're just beginning. Personal trainers are available and, I've personally found, kick your ass in a good way. Two complaints about the Y: 1. The parking lot sucks. The Y offers a lot of "peewee" sports classes or groups or such, and they seem to all be offered at the same time. So you might be fighting the after-work exercise crowd AND all the volleyball moms in the town. Not fun, but mostly a timing issue. Even when you're not there during peak times, the parking lot still stinks. There's a random vertical section, sort of separate from the horizontal section; the paths are supposedly one-way but no one seems to obey that; and in general, there's not enough room. 2. According to my FourSquare check-ins, I've been to the Y 140 times. Yet when the check-in people greet me (if they do at all), they misread my name as Kathy. I don't think it's too much to ask for regular workers to get to know the names of their regular patrons.
