And in the summer, no closures for weather .... I also see lots of folks on the different running tracks and the basketball courts... up stairs are the weight rooms and exercise machines. There is no better facility for a hundred miles, maybe more. A membership is the gift you should give to your family. We drive 25 minutes to use this place... and are lucky to have it. I was impressed with how they adapted to the varying fitness levels of each guest, providing each of us with what we needed. I am a fifty-three-year-old professional woman; I am 5' 6" and weighed 206 pounds when I arrived. I am married with two teenage boys and I am the caregiver for my elderly parents. During the 2020 quarantine and COVID-19 restrictions, I had become increasingly overwhelmed with my responsibilities and filled with anxiety. On top of that I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes and high cholesterol. Admittedly, my diet and alcohol consumption had become unhealthy while isolating and working from home for an entire YEAR. I had not exercised in several years; I was emotionally, intellectually and physically at my limit and in desperate need of a fresh start. Wendy so friendly, sweet and super accommodating while Dave gave you the motivation you needed and pushed you to your limits in the gym and was one of the most amazing chefs I've ever experienced. I have never had healthy clean eating food taste so good! I came here packing on weight having been not going to the gym in months, eating junk food and drinking almost every day. I weighed in at 181 day one and by day 5, I was 164 and lost 5% body fat. I loved the daily colonics they had us do, I really feel it helps. Once you get past the first couple days of only eating bone brother and algae juice, you get a second wind. We did 4-8 mile hikes twice a day in addition to our daily weight training, ABs and yoga. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for results in a short period of time or need motivation to get back into gym.
