We were so completely impressed with the schools philosophies of positive discipline, growth mindset thinking and learning through play. We love the school so much we decided to keep our son at the school for another year even though he could have gone on to TK last year. The extra year has done wonders for him and taught him to be a good older example for his classmates. This preschool is such a community treasure. We've also been able to use the Y's gym and pool while our son is at school since it's located conveniently next door. The Y's mission to support a more work/life/family balance can really be achieved with this preschool program. We were so excited that the preschool also provided sports and swim programs at the YMCA next door. With today's busy family schedules, having sports and swim classes during school hours is an amazing benefit. The teachers at the YMCA preschool are so incredibly kind, loving, fun and engaging. The teachers have a lot of freedom to be creative with the kids' projects. There are gardens, compost, worm farms, giant cardboard tube creations, tie dye projects and endless creative explorations. The outdoor area is an amazing space with a sand pit that includes a life-sized speed boat, great playground equipment, water tables, tricycles, and lots of grass and trees. The learning spaces inside are filled with amazing play and imagination stations. There really isn't a better preschool out there!

The minute I walked in the Peninsula Family YMCA Preschool I knew it was the right place. The classrooms are clean, with amazing activities, toys to engage imagination, and lots of beautiful artwork and pictures by the kiddos. The teachers are all kind, patient and fun to be around. The outdoor area really is incredible as an urban dweller with no yard, their outdoor space is magical with a "sunken" sand boat, gardens, lots of grass and trees to play in and of course a wonderful playground. The true test was how well my son liked it and he has loved. His vocabulary has increased significantly, along with his fine motor skills. He has made so many friends and finds all his teachers "his favorite." He adores going to school, which makes me so happy since I am a single parent and have to work. I can't say enough great things about this preschool, I only hope they re-open post-COVID as my son is daily asking when he can go back and see his teachers and friends.

Our oldest was there for two years before moving on to Kindergarten, and our youngest has been enrolled for the past year. From the very beginning, we were drawn to the warm, homey atmosphere of the school, and we quickly saw how caring and dedicated the staff are. Every teacher is patient, kind, and truly invested in the children's growth and happiness. Our girls have thrived here--excited to go to school each day, eager to see their friends and teachers, and always coming home with new things they've learned. The environment is welcoming, fun, and supportive, and our oldest was more than ready for the transition to Kindergarten thanks to the strong foundation she built here. It's such a comfort knowing our children are safe, cared for, and happy. Bay Park Early Learning Center has been a wonderful place for our family, and we couldn't ask for a better preschool.

After attending a neighborhood moms meeting, it was determined we were not the only parents to feel this way. I think St. David's or St. Marks are better recommendations for preschool

I wasn't sure my little one would like them as much as I did, but to no surprises he loved them. So much so that now that he is in 6th grade he spends his breaks at the camp. My favorite part about the camp is the range in ages from the staff and the eclectic backgrounds. This has made my little ones experience that much better. They are helpful and consistent with my care plan. My son has ADHD and anyone that cares for him must be as energetic and strong as him. Needless to say, I highly recommend them as they are fun for the kids, while helping with school work and providing professional care!

They helped us quickly get our son enrolled when I had to return to work from maternity leave and needed childcare right away. The administration was on top of everything and made the process so much less stressful. One of our favorite things is that they send photos throughout the day so we can see what our kid is up to. A special shoutout to Ms. Michell, who has been absolutely wonderful. She is kind, patient, and you can tell she truly cares about the kids. Our son has loved being in her class, and we're so grateful for everything she's done. Our son will be heading off to TK in August. We're sad to leave the school, but we'll definitely get our 2nd baby enrolled when she becomes a toddler!

After 3 months of touring a few other centers, I finally found HP and the security, joy and support both of my children felt was worth all of the research. Hillcrest Preschool were the first people we trusted our babies with, they were supportive and patient as they dealt with this very anxious mom. Having 2 children in different age ranges provided such a great perspective as to just how much HP was offering our children. The value is high quality, both of my children were noticeably becoming social butterflies, their vocabulary expanded and one even came out potty trained! The staff is just *chefs kiss* their attention to detail to my littlest one as she dealt with separation anxiety was comforting and a breath of fresh air. They take great care of our baby and always create a warm and loving environment. We really appreciate their communication -- they provide daily updates and photos, which allow us to see what he is learning and how he is doing throughout the day. The classroom is spacious, clean, and well organized, and the outdoor playground is a wonderful space for children to explore, play, and develop new skills. The teachers plan many fun and educational activities, including singing, dancing, drawing, and other hands-on activities that help children learn and grow. They have also helped our baby build daily routines and become more independent. When our baby first started daycare, he had a hard time adjusting and often looked for comfort from the teachers by asking to be held. The teachers were always so patient and loving -- they would pick him up, comfort him, and provide the sense of security he needed while he was getting used to his new environment. They were also very understanding when he had difficulty sleeping on the toddler nap cot. Instead of forcing him to adjust right away, they first allowed him to nap in the infant classroom crib where he felt comfortable, and then gradually helped him transition to the toddler nap cot. Their patience, flexibility, and support made a huge difference. It has been wonderful to see his growth -- from struggling with daycare at the beginning to now happily walking into school every morning and coming home with a smile. We are truly grateful to have such loving teachers who care about our child's development and happiness. We highly recommend University City KinderCare to any family looking for a safe, caring, and nurturing daycare.
