It is a hybrid model so kids go to school three days a week and two days a week you homeschool your child which allows you to work on skills they are struggling on or advance them and skills they've already mastered because they get so much one-on-one time. I love how the teachings of the Bible are woven into all aspects from handwriting to reading to social studies and of course daily Bible study. A great conservative school.

Their communication, kindness, and genuine love for children was evident from the start. As she progressed through the 18 month to 24 month classes, each teacher ( Ms Savannah , Ms. Ashleigh, Ms. Cheryl, Ms. Olivia) treated her as if she was their own child. Ms. Shelia and Ms. Bri, whom oversee the daycare and programs, are truly some of the most authentic and kindest souls I've ever encountered. They are all one big family and the smiles they bring to my daughter's face is something I will be forever grateful for. My toddler loves going to school and has brought home so many creative and special art projects and meaningful gifts for momma and daddy on certain holidays . They bring in Santa / the Easter bunny , and provide so many unique and valuable experiences as well as life lessons to all of the kids throughout the different age groups and programs. I cannot say enough about St pete prep and the staff that make this place as special as it is.

Id give a ZERO if i could! riting this in hope that it will save the next parent the stress in which it has caused me. I recently enrolled my daughter into Daycare at St Pete Prep Learning Center in St. Petetsburg. The first day, as the front office assistant walked my daughter & i to her class, i witnessed someone else's child (approx. 3 y/o girl) sitting on the bathroom with a bare bottom & her clothes scattered on the floor. I thought it to be a tad odd but didn't say anything. I sat down with my daughter & her class so she could feel comfortable before i left. After about 15-20 minutes or so she was comfortable and i left. Welll, as i walked out i couldn't help but notice the little girl was STILL sitting on her bare bottom on the bathroom floor. Again, it was my daughters first day, i didnt want to be "that parent", the annoying one that comments on everything. So i didn't Say anything. The next day when i walked into the classroom to pick my daughter up, she was in the corner crying by herself with snot all over her face. Which tells me she had been crying for a bit. I ask the teacher what's wrong, i didn't get a straight answer. I ask again & im told she had a few diarrhea diapers & as a result had diaper rash. She stated she applied Vaseline. So i immediately put my daughter on the changing table to see because shes never reacted that way. The rash was bad enough that someone should've called me. & not just because of how the rash looked but because of how my child was acting. In addition, i should've received a call due to the diarrhea they claimed She had. She clearly was in alot of pain & didn't want to sit down because of it let alone have a diaper on. But yet when i walked in, she was sitting. No one thought to even hold my daughter, console her, let her know its going to be okay. Or thought to call me? They should've called me. Who knows how long my baby had to sit on pain. Or continue to ge her butt wiped even though she's in pain to the point of tears! That night she couldn't even wear a diaper to bed, she literally cried herself to sleep with no diaper. And she slept on a towel. I understand kids get diaper rash & it can get severe, that's overstood. My problem is i wasnt notified. I don't understand how they can be in business. How could i possibly experience this much nonesense & licensing violations in just TWO DAYS? Long story short, i reported the daycare to daycare licensing & they will be investigated. But more so, i wish i knew the mother of the little girl that was sitting on the floor. In addition, i wrote a review on the daycare's Facebook page and in response they stated "i would definitely question this persons credibility. Follow this link & Check out her arrest record. REALLY?? What kind of parent is this?" & then posted a link to a records site showing my arrest for possession of marijuana. Then hours later deactivated the page, removed the reviews option & reactivated. If that doesnt speak volumes i don't know what does. Thank you for hearing me out.

I would pick up my son in a small room with a group of all ages and a very young person whom I did not know as the adult. This young person I think is a son of a teacher? Not sure. "My time at Canterbury has been a disappointing experience, to say the least. While the campus may…read moreseem appealing at first glance, the reality is far from the image portrayed in brochures and promotional materials. The academic programs, touted as 'comprehensive' and 'innovative,' fell short of expectations. The coursework often felt outdated, and several instructors seemed disengaged and uninterested in the success of their students. The lack of practical applications and hands-on experiences left me feeling ill-prepared for the real-world challenges in my field. The administration at Canterbury is another major drawback. Bureaucratic processes are convoluted, and getting assistance from the administrative offices is a frustrating ordeal. Whether dealing with financial aid, course registration, or housing issues, I found myself constantly running into roadblocks, and the staff's lack of responsiveness only added to the frustration. Campus facilities, while visually appealing, are poorly maintained. The promised state-of-the-art facilities turned out to be more style than substance. Broken equipment in laboratories, outdated technology in classrooms, and insufficient library resources were a constant source of frustration for many students. The lack of a cohesive and supportive community was evident throughout my time at Canterbury. The student body felt fragmented, and there was a noticeable absence of school spirit or engaging extracurricular activities. It seemed like everyone was simply going through the motions, with little enthusiasm for learning or collaboration. Career services were practically nonexistent. The so-called job placement assistance was minimal, and networking opportunities were scarce. I struggled to find support in my post-graduation job search, feeling abandoned by the institution that should have prepared me for the workforce. In conclusion, I would caution anyone considering Canterbury to thoroughly research and reconsider their options. The glossy exterior masks a reality of subpar academics, unresponsive administration, and a lackluster campus culture. I regret my decision to attend this institution and would strongly advise prospective students to explore alternative educational opportunities." Not only was the school itself a dissapointmen so were the people there the kids were rude and said hurtful things to my kid. The teachers knew about the abusive behavor and did nothing
