The location is spectacular. It's a beautiful spot to eat, within a gorgeous walled garden at the edge of the Donaupark.
I had the lunch special which costs 10 Euro including dessert.
The starter was "spicy cucumber salad". It was fine.
The main was stir-fried duck with vegetables & steamed rice. The duck had extremely overcooked; it had already been cooked before it was stir-fried and recooked. Since it had been cooked so many times and for so long, it had a tough, dry, unpleasant texture, which is unfortunate, since duck in Chinese cuisine is typically juicy & succulent. The rest of the dish (vegetables) were fine, but there wasn't much flavour. Thankfully, they provided soy sauce & chili sauce that I could use to season the food.
The dessert was deep-fried banana.
Lychee juice was fine (3.60 Euro)
Service was good.
I'd be fine with trying Sichuan again, since it's possible that the dish with the recooked duck was just particularly bad... although I don't like that they served re-cooked duck meat without letting customers know that's what we're ordering.
